After being the patient at this clinic for over 6 years, I can no longer put up with their attitude and decided to share my experience. And this is way:
I went through 6 nurse/physician practitioners within 18 months. For the last 7 visits, I had to see a new nurse practitioner because the previous one had left.

Even more frustrating is how long I had to wait to be seen and how rude the clinic manager is.

I waited for over 3 hours during the first visit and over 2 hours for the second to be seen by Dr. Lalani. Three weeks ago, I checked in around 9:00am for a 9:45am appointment. At 9:45am, I asked the receptionist whether Dr. Lalani was running on time. Only then I was told that he was already running one hour and 45 minutes late and counting.

I asked the receptionist (1) why she didn’t inform me that the doctor was running almost two hours late when I checked in and (2) why the appointments with Dr. Lalani always run a minimum of two to three hours late.

By then the clinic manager came out and told me that “Dr. Lalani owns the clinic, and he sets his own schedule.”

He further added “Do you have any idea how hard it is for my staff to tell you that Dr. Lalani is running late.”

I replied “Do you have any idea how hard it is for your patients to wait for hours, missing work and re-scheduling other appointments because Dr. Lalani cannot keep his schedule, not once or twice, but every time.”

To my surprise, the clinic manager had the audacity to reply “You are talking just for the sake of talking!”

In short, if you don’t mind waiting for hours or dealing with a clinic manager who is rude to patients, then by all means, this is the place to go. I had no trouble finding other doctors at the Mayo clinic to help me with my thyroid issue. It is much more pleasant to deal with people who are courteous and service-oriented at other clinics than at this clinic.

I was a patient for quite some time and got sick of the 3 hour wait and over prescribing tests. When Dr. Lalaini goes to India for a month every year, there's no backup. Mayo Clinic was very surprised how over prescribed my meds were and made changes. Triple books per his employees. Agree with many comments below.

I went to Dr Lalani and his PAs for over 3 years for hypothyroidism and all they did was make me wait 3 hours (1hr in waiting room; 2hr in exam room) to get my med refills. I finally decided to change to a new Dr and they requested my medical records 3 times and got nothing... I called the office again and again and they told me they sent them. I finally had to go into the office and pay $25 to get copies of my records. The new Dr ran new labs and found that I have a lesion on my pituitary gland causing HGH deficiency. I had to be put on daily injections to treat it. I DO NOT recommend Dr Lalani or any of his staff.

After being my doctor for 9 years, I walked in for my appointment and was told that I needed to see the office manager. She informed me that Dr. Lalani would no longer be treating me because I filed Ch. 13 even though I was a cash patient. I was not allowed to stay for my appointment, did not receive refills, no 30 transition of care or referrals.

Staff is atrocious, uncaring and uneducated. Phone calls are never returned...don't bother with the manager, she's the most incompetent one. I was scheduled blood work that had a pregnancy test attached. I have no uterus...why do I need a pregnancy test, again?? I've told both Lalani and Amy about my lack of a uterus but it falls on deaf ears. Avoid this office. RUN away and don't look back!!
