I am totally amazed by negative reviews on my doctor. I have been seeing her for 6 years for rheumatoid arthritis. My symtoms are so much better that you might not even know I have arthritis to look at me. She has always answered every question I have and I think she is a terrific communicator. You will not find a better office staff. I get my money's worth.

Dr. Myers has pretty much saved my life. I've been seeing her for over 10 years, since I was 18, for rheumatic problems. There are two downsides to her: 1) she's chronically late--she just is and always has been and always will be, and 2) she LOVES to talk (which probably contributes to her always running late!) But as for knowledge on issues she knows more about undiagnosed problems and non main-stream issues than any doctor I have ever seen. Her staff is fantastic. I get treated amazingly by her staff and they are always very generous with their samples which certainly helps to allieviate some of my costs. I think the attitude you have going in there with matters a lot. They see a lot of patients who are just doctor shopping trying to get more pain pills. They have to be skeptical and err on the cautious side especially in the chronic pain field. There is way too much malpractice out there not to be. I would definitly recommend everyone go see Dr. Myers or Dr. Rockhold too.

I have seen her a couple of times for fibromyalgia. She was rushed to get me in and out without giving me much help to begin with.

Saw Dr. Myers for the first time this week. I was referred by my primary care physician after ruling out cervical disc issues, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, etc. Had already had preliminary blood work, along with an MRI. I felt Dr. Myers was very patient and understanding of my pain issues. I did have to wait several weeks for an appointment but did not feel that was unreasonable. After all, it was not life threatening--just painful. Diagnosed as fibromyalgia--gave rx for fibro medication and rx for myofacial release PT. Supposed to return in one month for update on how I am doing. Under the circumstances, could not have asked for anything more. I think specialists expect one to have already had a lot of preliminary tests done before they are referred to them--probably do see that as a waste of their time and rightly so.

I am 33 years old and was referred to her because my dr. was concerned that I may have Lupus. I had been so nervous going in and couldn't believe what had happened once I left. She never said anything about the Lupus and I felt so rushed that I forgot half the things that I was going to ask her. She told me that she didn't know why I was having all these symptoms and that they would do blood work and if nothing was wrong, then I won't hear anything. Well, if I'm going to pay her $633.55 she needs to at least let me know what they found out. I will never go back to her again. She talked more than she listened. I went to her to listen and find out if I had Lupus or not.To not even mention it just made me nuts. She probably stayed in my room with me for 10 minutes and that is pushing it. Keep in mind this was a first time visit and definately a last. Try to get someone else if you possibly can.

Dr. Myers could not accurately diagnose a problem, as she took no history of symptoms, length of illness, or prior treatment. She talked over us while asking questions. Unfortunately this is a Doctor so consumed with her own self worth that she is unable to effectively treat patients. Beware
