Dr. Romanowski is very knowledgable, friendly and courteous. I have seen his work as a humanitarian and as a result have used him for personal health reasons. I have also recommended him to friends who have reported they have been very satisfied with his work.

Because I was younger than his normal patient, obese and had a history of cancer, Dr. Romanowski was not confident enough in his experience to handle my case. I appreciated his honesty. He thought I would be better suited in a center of excellence such as those in Pittsburgh or Cleveland. This even after getting satisfactory reports back from diagnostics in Hematology, Infectious Disease and my Oncologist. I took this recommendation back to my primary physician who said there was no reason that I could not get this surgery here in Buffalo. He referred me to University Orthopaedics where they told me that they were extrememly experienced and able to handle my case. University Orthopaedics did a fantastic job on my surgery without any negative postsurgical effects at all.

He is one of the best orthopedic. He has done wonders for me. He set my broken wrist.Other doctors said my wrist was like a puzzle. They felt I could have lost the funtion of my hand. I fell that it was the skill of this Doctor that saved my hand.

Doctor Romanowski has performed two surgeries on me. The first, an arthroscopic repair of my right knee last year. My knee had become pretty bad with damaged cartilage and the pain was near cronic. After one year, my knee has greatly improved and the pain is very minor. Just recently I had Dr. Romanowski repair a very painful torn rotator cuff and bone spur. Again he performed arthroscopic surgery. It has been less than a week and it already is much better. I'll be returning to work next week. He told me post-surgery that the operation went very well and that I can expect near 100% recovery. In closing I want to say that Dr. Romanowski is an extemely competent surgeon and a knowledgeable physician. He took the time to explain all my options. I never felt pressured about the decision to have surgery. All in all, I'm very lucky to have Dr. Romanowski.
