Dr. Gochoel has been my gynecologist for more than 20 years. He and his staff have always been professional and knowledgeable with issues I had over the years. Dr. Gochoel always keeps me updated on issues that plague women of my age. I highly recommend this practice.
Dr. Gochoel is very thorough and always ask me if I have any questions or concerns. He does not rush me out the door.

I started seeing Dr. Gochoel shortly after my first period. My mom wanted to have me checked out. I continued to see him for the next several years, all the while trying to get him to understand and see that something was wrong. I was not sexually active, however I was skipping several periods in a row, sporadically bleeding for long periods of time, and suffering from other symptoms that Dr. Gochoel neglected to acknowledge. I knew something was wrong and begged to be switched to another OB/GYN. I eventually did and after a few tests was referred to a specialist who diagnosed me with PCOS and hypothyroidism. Dr. Gochoel failed to listen to my concerns and did little to quell my fears. As I approach a time in my life where my husband and I are considering children, I'm glad I'm not with Dr. Gochoel. I question if he would go along with my birth plan if he wouldn't even listen to my concerns about my own body.
