I am quite happy with Dr. Mickey and her office. It is no nonsense, but efficient and friendly. I am able to get appointments in a timely manner and have not yet experienced a long wait for a scheduled appointment. I find her staff helpful, friendly and informative. Dr. Mickey herself can initially seem a bit aloof, but that was only the first appointment. After she had come to know me a bit (and I her), she is simply professional and focused on the patient's medical condition and needs. She is knowledgeable and asks thorough questions regarding my health issues and has always answered my questions helping me to better understand my treatment options and consequences. I do like her tremendously.

Office person unfriendly, Dr. Mickey does not appear friendly, short to the point so am not sure about her after reading the rest of the reviews.

After reading these comments about Dr. Mickey it confirms my initial feelings when I saw her recently. I thought it was just me because I was so sick when I came in there the staff was rude and she was in different. I sincerely hope that she finds these reviews and does some sort of turned around in her office with herself and her staff. The only when I found pleasant was the pharmacist he was efficient and didn’t make you feel uncomfortable. If I get one thing through to Dr. Mickey it’s this some people haven’t seen a doctor for years and there’s reasons why. I’m new to Arizona I don’t have a doctor and I will be looking for one.

Rude, impersonal, dismissive. Zero follow up. The staff is equally as unhelpful. I have no idea why this doctor runs a practice when it's obvious that doing so is a huge and tiresome burden on her.

Dr Mickey I found was a very thorough Dr. I went in for weight loss issues she did a whole history screening on me. I have never had before. I can't speak for other medical issues but I'm sure she is great at that level too

My six kids and I have seen De. Mickey for ten years! While she isn't the kind to chat your ear off, she has always been dutifully thorough and isn't the kind to check her watch or rush you out of the office. Whether it's been for obstetrics, pediatrics, or family practice, I whole heartedly recommend Dr. Mickey. She is great and we love her.

Dr. Mickey is not a real warm and fuzzy person but that is just her personality. She did however diagnose my mom right on and sent her to see a cardiologist. If it had not been for her diagnosis and her diligence in getting her in to see a cardiologist my mom may not have lived. My mom is still not out of the woods but it is not because of Dr. Mickey's lack of treatment.

I have been seeing her for about 9 years, but she has always made me feel uncomfortable and judged. She has actually done the "sighing" response when I ask about something new. She seems to not want to spend time answering questions, and almost makes you hurry up to answer because she is getting up to leave, because she is finished. Recently, the front office said she wants me in to do a follow up on a few things, but when I got there, she said she doesn't know what I'm referring to!.....the office called ME! I'm needing to get out of this office & find a real doctor! I have auto-immune issues and need to be taken seriously, which is something Mickey doesn't.

I echo the comments of others on here regarding Dr. Mickey. My wife and I go to her and we have both discussed our experience with her. Our perception is that she is all about the $ bill, not friendly at all, stern, and all about business and getting you in and out so she can move on to the next client. Notice I stated client not patient. As far as competency I have only seen her for followup care and script refills. My family and I do not like this practice and will be searching for a new primary care physician.
