Pleased with the surgery, but disappointed that I was not informed that the hospital the doctor insisted on using was not a level one hospital on my insurance. Thus the cost was more than triple the cost had it been in a one of the two other hospitals available locally. He and his staff need to inform patients when they recommend hospitals that the hospital services may not be fully covered in their insurance. I consider this very bad patient-doctor-staff communication.
