i went there a few times for my foot. he sent me to pt which did really help but he had the worst office staff ever and when i had to pick up my records for another physician (about 2-3 pages) they charged me a fee for my own records, then they didn't even have them ready when i came to pick them up so i had to wait. and, finally, when i did get them some of the stuff written in there wasn't even about me: he must have been writing in a couple patient's charts at the same time and wrote some of their stuff in mine. i would not return to that office.

Dr. Balazsy and his staff were wonderful. He operated on my husband after he broke his hip and the doctor actually offered to help me wheel him out of the hospital when he was discharged. He showed me the xrays and ct scans in the ER and was very thorough and understanding. Will go to him for any orthopedic needs.

Both he and his staff were rude and unprofessional. When I tried to assist my mother-in-law with her appt. we were told they didn't have her as a patient. Funny because he performed surgery just 8 weeks prior. We were told he didn't need any notes on her because he could remember her.??? He also got very upset when we didn't know about getting x-rays done, but no one from his office communicated this to us. He was obnoxious and rude. And, it turns out that he used questionable judgement when recommending a procedure that only worked 2 months! My MIL is back in surgery (with another orthopaedist) for a full hip replacement. There's no way I would trust him or his staff.

You are soooo missed!! You repaired my son's elbow 6 years ago. He just recently started having problems with it again. Anyone who is injured and is fortunate enough to see you, had their guardian angel looking out for them:)

We were so sorry to see Dr. Balazsy move from his practice in Michigan. My husband had to have several serious femur repairs which Dr. Balazsy performed with superior knowledge and skill, and we became very fond of him. He conveyed the feeling that his medical care was the most important thing at that time. Each time we went to his office he was so nice and friendly, and we were very sad to see him leave. (we hope that you all apreciate him in Florida!)

Dr Balazsy is a gifted surgeon with compassion and great bedside manner. He checked in on me several times each day, personally managed nurses and gave great care overall. He thoroughly explained procedures, medications and physical therapy, and maintained an open line of communication. Very approachable and down-to-earth, Dr. Balazsy comes with my highest recommendations.
