Every time I visit Dr Laura Pickford she is always so knowledgeable, gives the right information and givved perfect attention that needs to be.

They do not do ultrasounds in house, so if you are having an issue and they send you to the radiologist, you have to wait to find out what is going on. Terrible when you are having a miscarriage or suspect something is wrong. She failed to prescribe a medication that would have significantly reduced my chance of miscarriage. Doctor on call did not return my call after hours. Will be switchng doctors.

Dr. Pickford is awesome! I have been going to her as a patient for about 18 months. I had an unfortunate experience with my previous OBGYN that I had seen for 6 years and was really nervous about seeing another physician. I could have not picked a better physician than Dr. Pickford. She is very easy to communicate with as well as polite, caring, thorough and an excellent listener. I never feel rushed and always leave with my questions answered. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Dr. Pickford delivered my son in March of 2000, I had been a paitent at the office since 1991, Dr. Young delivered my daughter in 1997. Dr. Pickford preformed my DNC and tubal Ligation and now she will be doing my hysterectomy in a little over a week! I have the utmost trust in Greenbriar OBGYN and have recomended numerous friends and family members to the practice who have been paitence there since their first visit as well, alltogether I think the practice has delivered 15 babies of relatives and friends of mine. I will continue to be a paitent there untill I no longer am required to be which will hopefully never be an option. Thank you for everything Greenbriar OBGYN. Sincerely, Karen Shiflette

Dr. Pickford is awesome! She takes her time with you answering questions. She has calmed down over the years and that calmness can come across the wrong way (as perhaps a bit emotionally detacted) but having known her for so long, I know she cares deeply about her patients and their care. She is always willing to answer questions and will provide the resources necessary to make informed decisions. She is honest with her answers too. The only downside is the other female doctor in the practice is terrible (awful bedside manners) and they rotate you through all the doctors if you are pregnant. That is why I will be leaving their practice after going there for close to 10 years. If you only need gyn exams...Dr. Pickford is your girl!

Very contentious and rude staff.My insurance was contacted if expensive fertility regimen could charged before more inexpensive method of using clomid would have sufficed.

I do like Dr. Pickford quite a lot. I've been seeing her for a few years now for non-pregnancy routine exams. She does have a great bedside manner and is very helpful. My only complaint is that it seems like the appointments are rushed and there's not really enough time for more than one question. The staff is always nice and helpful, but I still often feel rushed along (I think they see a large number of patients). It is quite possible that Dr. Pickford is able to take more time with pregnant patients, I just don't know.

Dr. Pickford is an amazing doctor. Being new to the area at the time, I found this practice to be outstanding! She is very professional, knows what she is talking about, and also has a great bedside manner. Very friendly and easy to talk to. She delivered my second baby, and being that I was slightly high risk, she took the time to go over my situation and make all the necessary precautions. This is now my third and final pregnancy and I could not be happier with this practice! I would highly recommend them! Make your appts. early, she is hard to get in to see.
