My first experience with Dr. Wingo was highly positive. He listened carefully and questioned me thoroughly before reaching a conclusion. His explanations were clear and he has great talent in teaching and communicating. He is appropriately conservative in avoiding costly tests that would not be worthwhile, or prescribing medication that would cause more harm with side effects than benefit for your heart. Finally, he gives good attention to preventative lifestyle changes (sleep hygiene, caffeine, eating, exercise, etc.) that promote cardio health.

He's not cardiovascular certified by ABIM.org since 2001! What a sham- an internist allowed to perform coronary angioplasty

Dr. Wingo is both knowledgable and personable. He answers all my questions in a straight-forward, matter of fact way that I can understand. I am always impressed with how promptly he shows up for my appointments with him and even on the phone, his nurse is usually immediately available and she gets the answers to any questions very quickly, sometimes while I wait on the line. It has been a long time since I have recieved this quality of care from ANY doctor.
