He's a piece of garbage who used addicts as a tool to make $! He knew exactly what he was doing n didn't care n still doesn't ! The reason he's not n jail is because he New somebody that leaked info to him so he could stop writing n avoid jail! He's an idiot who made tons of $ off of well known drug addicts. It's obvious! Who the heck writes 720 30 mg oxycodone n 420 80 mg OxyContin at one time. A good friend of mine that I grew up with is n jail for 12 years , lost his wife n kids. Christian sheriff Nahas went from completely holistic to completely ballistic! He might b intelligent n some ways but he's a maniac who has mental health issues of his own. He's probably counting his $ somewhere laughing but karma has a funny way of paying u back! If u mess with the universe the universe will mess with u! That's the nature of the beast. I hope he reads this. Ur a nut bag buddy!

I am a recovering addict and came to D. Nahas for help. Dr. Nahas was the BEST doctor I have ever been to. He helped me with my opiate addiction with medication. Also treated my diabetes successfully. I came to him one week with a severely swollen knee. He drained it and got approval for injections and without any narcotic pain medication he made the pain go away. My only problem with the Doctor or his office was he stopped accepting insurance and I was paying out of pocket for a while then I couldn't afford it anymore. His office manager ruined the office. If you didn't have money she said the Doctor won't see you and for someone who's on maintenance medication that was wrong but I don't think that was any of Dr. Nahas's doing. I really hope things work out for Dr. Nahas he was a more then a Doctor he was someone who always had an open ear and there will never be a Doctor like him EVER!!

(In response to the comment about suing) You were treated for Ten years for PM and on narcotics, Newsflash pal there are TONS of PM treatments available for people besides opiates) Of course you were dependent after years on pain killers, you cant be that naive!! You were downright lucky to even be treated buy such a compassionate amazing DR in the first place (or you wouldn't have stayed for those ten years) FYI he moved back from Vermont around 7 years ago anyway. I was his patient treated for Pain management, put in the same situation as EVERYONE. He didn't decide to stop practicing pain medicine, the DEA did, on there LI witch-hunt. DR Nahas gave every patient weeks notice to come in for 1 last month of medication, and records were made available and mailed 7 days after signed release. You had 30 days to find a new DR continue your PM treatment. DR Nahas was always fair, never just about making money as you know. So stop lashing out at the dr who helped you live pain free for years

First off, Hands down Dr Christian Nahas in Island Park is buy far the most kind hearted doctor iv ever been treated buy. He is smart, with a great sense of humor, non judgmental and Doesn't have the GOD complex like most these Doctors do. Iv been treated buy Dr Nahas and Dr John Maiorino, for 4 years for pain management. They treated me after my prior doctor gave up on all his pain medicine patients. Dr nahas followed a strict zero policy for drug abuse, with urine screenings every single month. Unfortunately Dr Nahas has just stopped pain management due to NY State cracking down on all pain dr's, even the good ones that care about people like dr nahas. Iam now left looking for another pain dr and can only pray i find a dr half as compassionate and caring as dr john and dr nahas. Its a shame that one junkie david laffer caused hell for all the Long Island Drs and legit pain patients. (If you get the chance to see this, Thanks dr john and dr nahas for treating me over the years, N.E)

I have been attended by this physician for years. You simply CAN NOT find a better qualified reality doctor or person in this universe. He does house calls!, YES, house calls the way doctors use to do years back.
