after waiting to see md for 3 hours was told I would need to find another md by the office manager and asked to leave the office. When I arrived at the office I waited half an hour to be acknowledge by the office person before tapping on the window for information. It didn't matter what time your apt was md took in who she wanted to see next. When I questioned what was going on(other waiting pt's also were asking) I was told by the office person I was rude. When I asked md if this was coming from her or the office person she told me she was busy with pts and closed the door.I have put a 3 for knowledge just so I can submit this form but am unsure of knowledge of md becuase I was a new pt and never got to see her.

Dr Curtis is very pleasant but she is always late. It is typical to wait 2-3 hours before getting in to see her. It makes it very difficult to see her, especially as she is a rheumatologist and her patients cannot comfortably wait that long.

I have had three visits with Dr. Curtis and the wait is unbelievable...very crowded small waiting room and she has three people in there with same appt. time..and more 15 minutes apart. Never apologized for the two hour wait. Guess she thinks she's worth it, and we don't have anything better to do! I was not happy with her advice or her knowledge. Very vague about test results also. Never will go back.

Although the wait can be frustrating, I find that the reason behind it is understandable. I did not feel rushed in any way, Dr. Curtis was thoughtful and detailed and didn't rush to prescribe any medication. It wasn't until subsequent visits and tests that she made her diagnosis and prescribed appropriate medication . My life has completely changed for the better in the the months since. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

2-3 hr waiting time, rushed appointments, way over-booked! The same 1 minute exam at each visit. Just wants to give out meds. opposed to finding the cause to see what the problem is!
