I have gone to Dr. Townley several times for dematological issues. Her service is very good, and the price is quite reasonable.

I'm in the medical profession and went to her for Mohs surgery. I did this to minimize the scar because the lesion was on my face. Instead of taking several slices of tissue, she took one big chunk, announced that the margins were clear, offered to sew it up but declared either way there would be a scar. I felt she just wanted to get out of the office rather than do the best job for me. She may be competent but I would not return, even to get the scar lasered away.

I have gone to Dr. Townley twice now for acne-specifically chemical peels and to learn more about prevention of acne scarring. The first time I went she was very rude and not helpful at all. She answered my questions with one word answers and had no encouragement for results at all. I felt so low about myself when i left. She pretty much told me that there is nothing I could do that would help and was very insensitive to how I felt about the appearance of my skin. It takes a lot of courage to take off my shirt and show people my acne and scars, and the way she handled it was the worst I have ever experienced. She obviously does not care about her patients at all and it would be a huge surprise to see her smile. This experience made me never want to step foot in that office again. The fact that there are doctors out there like that is such a sad sad thing about Western Medicine.

Very knowledgeable Dr. She helped my husband with squamous and basal cells. She helped me with a rare skin disorder. We both love her and were very sad to see her only do Moh's procedure. But, we love her partner too.
