After 40 years of no allergy/asthma symptoms at all, I suddenly developed mild breathing issues last year. My son sees Dr. Andrews for nut allergies, and I've always been impressed, so I went to see her as well. Sure enough: it turned out that I had both asthma AND allergies. My test results were off the charts, and many doctors I know would have simply dismissed me with the highest doses of the relevant medications. But Dr. Andrews listened to me. She and I were on the same page about balancing the side-effects of my asthma with the side-effects of the medication. Since my symptoms were not equal to my test results, we spent months tweaking dosages (even trying no medication at all). We finally zeroed in on the best fit, and it's been working incredibly well. I feel very comfortable with Dr. Andrews, and trust and value her judgment. I also know that she'll be receptive to any concerns I might have, and will answer my questions honestly and completely. I highly recommend her.

My 4 year old and 6 year old have food allergies. My 4 year old has many food allergies and she has eczema. Dr. Andrews is a very good listener and she is very knowledgeable. She offers helpful advice. She is the best allergist we have been to!

Dr. Andrews is both very smart and a very easy doctor to talk to. She has helped me enormously and I feel very lucky to have her as my doctor.

Dr Andrews listened to what I had to say and gave me an over the counter drug that eleminated by Presure Sensitive Hives which no other doctor could do over a 14 month period. She is a God among doctors. If you have ever had hives for long periods of time and someone solves the problem in less than 30 minutes, one gains great respect for her abilities.

She kept asking me if my allergies were sneezing and runny nose, when I kept telling her I couldn't breath and got horrible rashes and breakouts. She didn't listen to me and didn't throughly test me. She never followed through when my testing was done to go over the results or options for treatment. I ended up going to a different doctor to get something done.

Dr. Andrews is very knowledgeable and helpful. She's very thorough in her testing, and really takes the time to discuss things with you. I've had asthma and allergies all my life, and her suggestions for treatment have really made a difference in my quality of life.
