Had ime with him, right off the start he started demeaning me and accusing me of "having weird symptoms for my spine injury" after multiple doctors confirming my symptoms and injuries. Was not proffesional and lacked bed side manners...he was a fraud and probably receiving kickbacks....would not trust him at all.

Dr. Buerkle and his dad operated on my spine in 1985 and scared up my nerves on my lower spine. The outcome has made my life unbearable every since I was 37 years old and I 'm going on 70 now. To top things off he washed his hands of me and won't even see me now after sending me to a pain clinic for 15 years where I was put on 160 mg of OxyContin 2x a day for a good many years along with 6x 5 mg of oxycodone in between doses. To have him to just abandon me after I worked really hard to wean myself off it all is the ultimate betrayal! I guess out of sight out of mind is good for him.

I had surgery for a rotator cuff tear, 1 and 1/2 years ago. Instead of arthroscopy he did a 3 in. cut, I was in the hospital for 2 days he never sent me to rehab for 5 weeks, I asked my regular doc for a script she wrote the script. When I went back to him the following week, he asked if I had gone to therapy yet. Told him about no script from him, and he literally threw a piece of blue exercise tubing at me, showed me how to do a couple exercises, and that was that. The shoulder never got better, so I went back and he wanted to operate again, had another MRI and went to another ortho doc. He did arthroscopy, said he couldn't see anything the first doc did, gave me photos of stitches just laying in the shoulder not hooked to anything. The rotator cuff was shredded, like tissue paper and full of adhesions from the first op. It hurt so bad that I went for a 3rd op. to cut the bicep muscle, now it hurts but not so bad, it is useless too. Very hard to dress, can't lift anything.

Doctor refused to see me at first without exray film as my MRI was on CD, but couldnt fit me in within the next ten days(MRI place said they could have my exrays for me the next day) and that would mean I would loose my workers comp. So he decided to see me without my exrays, but was very angry. After bending my legs and being in pain he told me to get down and touch my toes..I made it down with much difficulty and was told to go back to work, I couldnt, so got no compensation. A year later I got an operation for removal of adhesions that kept tearing and bleeding and healing together. Even though the problem was found, I still have in his record that the pain was all in my head and didnt exist. Im also a candidate for a total knee replacement on both knees. I tried to call the office just to tell them they did in fact find a problem for my pain, but they refused to talk to me as they said I was no longer a patient there.
