Dr. McFarland is the only doctor at the practice that I feel has taken the time to listen and evaluate all factors in my illnesses. When urgent care doctors have caused more harm than good, he has remedied the problem better than I could hope. He has been kind and compassionate, working around my young children when i've had to have them with me. I would follow him if I knew where he was practicing now. I was very upset to learn he had left the current office.

I have receive exceptional care from Dr McFarland. I have complicated medical issues ,and have seen dozens of doctors in regard to my disease. Dr. McFarland was never rushed,and could always makes me smile when I felt frustrated by my condition. I sometimes travel a great distance to see him monthly. His caring manner has been unparalleled in my vast experience with doctors.

I, too. Have had only good experiences with Dr. McFarland. I have been seeing ING for several years and he has always been kind and considerate. In at least a couple of cases I've had medical issues that specialists couldn't figure out. Yet he took the time to listen to me, do research, look outside the box, and he found answers for me. I would not hesitate to continue seeing him, and my family sees him as well.

I have been working with this practice for my general and some very complex health issues for over 7 years. I have found the entire staff knowledgeable, competent, efficient, friendly and helpful. All of the docs take a whole patient view; not focusing on just the presenting symptoms. Dr. McFarland has taken a special interest in my particular health issues and has studied them further to be available to me between visits to my specialist. He listens to my complaints and concerns as well as my insight and research. He, and the other docs in the practice, take the time required to truly understand what is going on and are willing to take one or many approaches to solving my particular issues. I highly recommend him and know of three people in my company who use him as their primary care physician. All of them are very complimentary of Dr. McFarland and his associates.

It's interesting seeing the other comments. I've been seeing Dr. McFarland for about three or four years now and I've never had any problems. On the contrary, he's always taken more time than most doctors to ask me about my family medical history, offer various treatment and approach options, and explain his plan. I've seen him for both Osteopathic manipulations and as my GP for general health issues and his care and treatment has seemed reasonable. I'm just one of many opinions, but I've seen him no less than a dozen times and never had a bad experience.

This doctor, though he was not the one I was scheduled to see - cared to poke his head into my exam room and without introduction, deride my health choices for my dependent, who is incredibly healthy. His demeanor and tone were unlike anything I have ever encountered in a doctor's office. I would avoid this doc at all costs!

Can get very very angry if you question anything he says!! Well when I looked him up it was no wonderFailure to disclose required information (12/20/07) Action Taken: Probation Issued To: Dr Bruce Damon McFarland; License # 34896 Nature of Complaint: The physician failed to disclose prior felony and assault charges on application for priviledges at a Colorado hospital. The physician failed to disclose his 1981 felony menacing charge and his 1989 third degree assault and criminal trespassing charge. He failed to provide complete and accurate information for his 1989 trespassing charge and 1997 vehicular assault, resisting arrest and reckless driving charges. He also failed to comply with the board's rules regarding physician assistants. Action Taken: Inquiry Panel B approved a Stipulation and Final Agency Order whereby the Physician has agreed to five years' Probation, practice restriction, treatment monitoring, and practice monitoring.
