She never took the time needed. You felt like you were imposing. Then she abandoned her practice without notice, leaving you to pay a fee for access to your records. Good riddance.

Didn't conduct thorough assessment of my daughter which delayed a diagnosis by one year. Had me on a medication which I should have been taken off of according to actual scientific literature based on my symptoms, instead the medication was doubled and I ended up in the ER and receving emergency surgery !! However I did find her quite pleasant mannered and friendly, just didn't think her expertise was all that great.

Dr. Trish Ewert was my family doctor for about 8 years. I really don't know why I put up with her for so long. She always rushed you out of the office as if you were an intrusion on her time. If anyone was in it for the money she was. Eagle Ridge Hospital must have made her a better offer. The final straw for me was when I asked her to do a complete physical because I had not been feeling well for quite some time and had multiple problems and her response was to tell me how long that would take and how much of a cost it is to the health system. She also advised me that usually you don't find any problems. I left her office that day and found myself another doctor. He did a complete physical and blood work. He referred me to a specialist right away. I spent the next eight months to a year on disability, part of which time I spent trying to get off of a pill she had overprescribed which caused an addiction. It was a horrible experience I would never let happen again.

My overall ratings scored low due to poor service I received. When she decided to leave her practice, I was not contacted, and then I returned to make an appointment to find out that she was no longer my doctor. I did not know that doctors can leave you hanging in such a circumstance. After being in a car accident she seemed at times to dis-regard any problems that I was having. Though I feel she was quick to write me many prescriptions – more than likely to quickly move me out of the room. I too was always told to just come to her for one issue at a time. I do not feel I was provided adequate time to speak with her even when I went in for one issue! Have found a new doctor now and am thrilled the time and compassion this Dr. delivers to me.

Dr.Ewert was my doctor for over 15 years. She was always in a hurry, she seemed to dismiss what I had to say most of the time and told me that I only should come to see her for one issue at a time. She told me that she gives 2 minutes for every problem. I felt very stupid at times after leaving her office. For 5 years I had major major problems with my stomach and bowels and it took took a walk in clinic doctor to refer me to a specialist. I got more from going into the walk-in clinic than I did from her is 15 years.

I went to Dr Ewert for about 10 years. She was fine for day-to-day concerns, but when I had a thyroid tumour she didn't diagnose it (luckily I had to see someone else who did) and when I was peeing blood being on Cumoden she said I had a kidney stone! And I was ready to go camping for the w/end. Again, luckily one of her partners diagnosed me properly in time. You never really know until something bad happens. Now she is a resident at ERH! Look out!

I went to this doctor for over 10 yrs and was given one month to find a new doctor as she was no longer interested in providing me service. She never took the time to deal with any issues, The only good thing she did for me was telling me to find a new doctor and I found the best doctor i have had in my life

She abandoned her patients and quit her practice with minimal notice to work at a hospital. To add insult to injury her old practice charges $50 to have your records transferred.
