If I could give them NO stars I would. This Doctors office is extremely unprofessional. My husband came in for a tooth extraction where he paid 329.00 cash for the services, they didn't prescribe antibiotics or pain meds and the area became more infected, so the following week we went back to get it fixed because he has been in so mich pain and they FRONT DESK RECEPTIONIST is so rude she argues from the time we get their to the time we leave. They want to charge ANOTHER 129.00 for services thats their fault not ours and As I'm telling my husband not to give them any more money because this is a problem they need to fix, she is talking over me, arguing, and fussing at us. So unprofessional. So my husband attempts to explain how rude she is to the doctor and he basically takes up for her and say well it's your fault all this is happening. Last time I checked the front desk clerk isn't authorized to speak to people any kind of way nor are they certified to give medical advice on what WE did wrong. We tried to tell them we followed protocol and did nothing wrong and they swore us up and down that everything was our fault. The worst part is the receptionist went to the room my husband was in and basically was still taunting him so he just got up and declined their service. I wouldn't send my dog here for treatment. They are the worst Dentist office ever and now I see why they never have any customers. I plan to go to the state board on them. We and the people whom referred are all going to find a new dentist and what the dentist office doesn't know is that I recorded the commotion the Front Desk lady caused. See you guys in court.

This is the WORST dentist I have EVER been to and I have visited over 10 dentists across several states.

The dentist WALKED OUT during the consultation. Time to go home I guess.

The dentist (Hightower) almost pulled my cheek off while doing a very poor visual.

The dental office did NOT provide the requested service and proceeded to argue with me that they did. (????????)

The dental office is in a construction zone and ugly.

The dental hygenist was SICK and at work. GROSS.

Try someone else, save yourself the trouble.

This dentist is only interested in how much money he can make...he put a cap a $2500 on a tooth he knew should have been pulled.

Dr. Douglas W. Hightower's response
We don't do 'caps' @ $2500. We are regulated by dental insurance fees. We pride ourselves in Informing patients of all options before we Perform any treatment with a required signature and consent from all patients.

I am not sure what undone means? Dr. Hightower practices with care, skill and judgment and we pride our self in giving options for all dental treatment. We encourage open communication with our patients.

I rated low scores because of the horrible care I was given as a patient with this dentist. He capped a tooth that should have been pulled and when the cap broke 9 months later he would not replace it. My teeth are still giving me big problems because he does not care about the well being of his patients. The tooth he capped was swollen during one of my visits to him and he busted itand said it was nothing wrong.

Dr. Douglas W. Hightower's response
We were remodeling our office and very limited to treatment from Oct 2012 till March 2013 and did not do any 'caps' during that time. We did help another local dentist keep his practice open from March 2013 till April 2014 when his dental license was suspended. Please feel free to contact our office @ 417-7648.

I WAS TOLD A CLEANING WAS AROUND 100.00 AND WHEN I WAS DONE THEY CHARGED ME OVER 200.0O PLUS OTHER RATES WERE DOUBLE FROM ANY OTHER DENTIST. PLUS THEY DEMAND CASH UP FRONT AND "SAY" THEY WILL IMMEDIATE ELECTRONICALLY FILE YOUR INSURANCE, HOWEVER I HAVE CALLED 3 TIMES AND STILL MY INSURANCE COMPANY HAS NOT RECEIVED ANY CLAIM. ALSO THE OFFICE PERSONNEL IS THE MOST RUDE PERSON I HAVE EVEN WITNESSED WORKING IN AN ESTABLISHMENT THAT WORKS WITH CUSTOMERS. WARNING!!!

Wanted new dentures. Wanted to show more upper teeth. Didn't listen. Got dentures stuck on teeth, had to hammer off. Probably ruined one of my implants- having trouble with it now. Bottomdentures sat too high in mouth. Sent dentures back to fix. After 10 more hours of discomfort still looked the same. I would never go out in public the way they looked. I don't think he ever looked to see how they appeared when you smiled or talked, before he put you through hours of adjustments. He is expensive too.

I have never had a Dentist call me at home before my appointment and introduce himself. The dentist and his staff are very helpful with explaining of the dental problems I have going on in my mouth. The IV sedation being offered is a wonderful choice for someone like myself who doesn't want to experience the treatment being done. I don't like the noise, taste, shots and I also gag, which the sedation keeps me from doing or experiencing the dental work. I can't say enough about what this office has done for my self esteem and being able to deal with my dental problems. Dr. Hightower has the aswers to help anyone with their dental issues.

Visited for sedation due to severe gag reflex. Sedation did not work and bill was $400 for nothing. They wanted to schedule it out patient at the hospital but I cancelled after they told me that it would cost $9000 to do the back bottom right teeth (a couple of fillings and one crown). This would only be the dentist part of the bill but not the hospital. I am having my whole mouth done for $2200 under anesthesia at a oral surgeon's office in June.
