Dr. Connor took his time with my son Daniel... something that is unheard in this rushed society. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions including my sons. In the end, I really appreciated the test and the time ... I wanted him to be as thorough as possible... this is my son's health.

Make sure he does not fool you about "Tricuspid Insuffiency" or a "Leaky Valve", I took my child for a second opinion after 6 visits with him , and the pediatric cardiologist from Columbia University told me that most normal children will have that finding on an Echocardiogram, and that we did not need a cardiologist after the first visit!!--

Dr. Connor is the BEST! He has been treating my child since she was a month old. Dr. Connor was the only doctor to discover the problem that my daughter was having. He educated us effectively at every visit of her condition. Advised us of what to expect in the future as well. His staff as well as him, went above and beyond in helping me find participating surgeons that were willing to provide the appropriate medical services that my child needed. My child is now 6 years old and with a healthy heart after her suregery. I would recommend Dr. Connor to anyone who is in need of a cardiologist. Dr. Connor missed a serious life threatening conditions my son had (HCM). The doctor had seen my son for 7yrs and missed the condition. My son went into cardiac arrest and thankfully was revived by the school nurse. After the episode, Dr. Connor still could not make the correct diagnosis. We went elsewhere and he was diagnosed in 20 minutes and had an ICD implanted.

Dr. Connor is a wonderful physician. Our child has been under his care for years and we couldn't ask for a better pediatric cardiologist. After dealing with so many other providers we are grateful to have found him. He is rated as a top doctor by Castle Connolly and it is easy to see why. He is kind, thoughtful, diligent and simply a gifted doctor. His wonderful bedside manner is truly unseen these days. Dr. Thomas Connor is the best Pediatric Cardiologist out there. After our children were diagnosed with serious heart complications we went to several doctors in the Midwest. We flew our child to New Jersey to see Dr. Connor after hearing great reviews about his work and how he takes the most challenging cases. Dr. Connor handled our very difficult cases that no one else would and saved our family. Thank you.

My daughter has been under Dr. Connor's care for over 10 years and we have always been very impressed with his patience, knowledge, encouragement and understanding of children. He listens to the child and speaks directly to the child which is very important with dealing with children. He remains calm and following the testing explains everything to you --- and makes sure that you understand it totally. His staff is also very helpful, encouraging and supportive.

Dr. Connor saw my son for five years and was unable to detect a serious ASD that was very obvious to the doctors who saw him after. He needed open heart surgery to correct - thankfully we left Dr Connor before he could do more damage. His equipment and the way he performs the echo are outdated - please don't bring your children here.

DR.CONNOR IS AN EXCELLANT PEDIATRICIAN CARDIOLOGIST. HE WAS THE ONLY DOCTOR THAT FIGURED OUT WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM WITH MY DAUGHTER'S HEART. DR. CONNOR HAS EXCELLANT PATIENCE AND GREAT SKILLS DEALING WITH CHILDREN. HIS WHOLE STAFF IS VERY HELPFUL AS WELL. THANKYOU DR.CONNOR AND HIS STAFF AT THE WEST ORANGE FACILITY.
