I initially went to this doctor as I was concerned about a sudden and profound drop in IQ (from 140 to about 100), which was impacting every aspect of my life. He would not take me seriously—and even joked about it. Dr. Blake gave me a standard Alzheimer’s test—useless under the circumstances-- and wanted me to be tested for learning disabilities(I’m 60!). One of my objectives had been to get a referral to a neurologist in a major city and to this end I called him. He does not use email(why not?) so I left a total of 3 messages attempting to get this recommendation. He replied to two, with incorrect information(having not listened--a theme). The third one he never replied to. He refused to entertain the possibility that I might have Lyme disease, for reasons unknown, except what seemed like a requirement to maintain the upper hand. After 3 fruitless sessions($600 of my own $), I gave up. I was subsequently diagnosed via Western Blot/blood with Lyme and Babesia, and am improving.
