I booked an appointment for Dr H and while I feel he is an amazing doctor his staff member was worried about going for lunch while asking me questions. The fees we pay should be for Dr. h nd not seeing him for only 10 min. I will not be going back
My son, Andrew, suffered from Crohn's disease. A few years ago, he came back from university in May looking like pale and weak. He had lost 20 pounds in a few months. The doctor gave him vitamins and minerals by chelation therapy. Andrew soon recovered his health. The doctor changed his diet to avoid foods causing an adverse reaction. Today he still has the disease but is symptom free. This is nothing short of miraculous.
Dr. Fred H is our Godsend. Without him, I know my husband would have been totally incapacitated by now. Before we found Dr. H, my husband's various doctors only relied on a previous diagnosis of bipolar to diagnose him. I attended these other appointments with him and witnessed the treatment he received which ranged from callous, judgemental biased and uneducated opinions to outright laughing at him and telling him "you don't know what you're talking about". Once, to appease one doctor, he was referred to a psychiatrist who told my husband that he "did not see any evidence of bipolar, but if you go off all your vitamins I will treat you." If there was no evidence of bipolar, what was he going to treat him for? Some of his symptoms, although not all, include fatigue, weakness, muscle tone loss, brain fog, inability to concentrate. These doctors saw my husband for maybe 10 minutes each time and then thought no more about him until the next visit, then reviewed the symptoms then and there. Dr. H sees my husband for as long as it takes. He listens and discusses all symptoms, thorough lab tests are a guideline, but presenting symptoms are more what he uses to help facilitate a quality diagnosis. He does not only treat the surface problem - he treats the underlying cause to the best he can to alleviate if not cure the problem. Most of the problems he sees are not textbook cases . He is a real life "Dr. House" except he has excellent manners and cares for his patients. He later found and treated me for elevated lead levels. I am grateful we have him.
This doctor treated me for Scleroderma in May 2014 and after 12 months under his care my rheumatologist has advised that my scleroderma is no longer active. It is in remission. He has transformed my life.
Fred is a genius! He is caring, attentive but most of all a leading expert on Eastern and Western medicine! As a lawyer I am somewhay cynical but Dr. Fred exceeded all of my expectations! Highly recommended!!!
A bladder infection 5 years ago became chronic. Antibiotic treatments became routine and so did the anxiety of me having to over explain myself to doctors. No one had an answer and I began to feel toxic at all times. The bacteria and symptoms would return within days/ weeks of taking medications. Along with loss of bladder control, abdominal pain, bleeding and brain fog. This doctor combines medicine and common sense in his practice. His commitment to looking outside the box and giving clear instruction to treatment, helped me. He listens and truly cares about my well being. I never thought that he would become our lifeline to wellness and daily function. I have regained bladder control and no longer feel toxic. This is one doctor who practices with a compassionate heart and not his ego. Thank you and your team for listening and only being a phone call away.
This special individual is a real doctor in every sense. It is a privilege to be under the care of such a compassionate physician. I've been going to his office and his clinic for ten years. After speaking with other patients, they regard him as family and would bend over backwards because of how much he has improved their lifestyle. The doctor has a true passion for his work and continues to research and develop new and effective ways to treat and care for his patients. He is a motivated person who loves a challenge that other doctors would likely give up on.
He customizes your treatment or care and recognizes that each of us is unique and different. I had a heart problem a few months ago and the cardiac unit in the hospital were positive that I had major blockages. After completing an angiogram the results indicated I had only minor blockages. The hospital staff were amazed. My family doctor said "you can thank Dr. H for that".
Hats off to him!
One year ago I presented to this doctor's office with fluroquinilone neuropathy and tendonopathy, which was the result of the drug Levoquin. There had seemed little help for me prior to this. He immediately recognized my symptoms and gave much thought as to how to treat this difficult problem. I had peripheral neuropathy, burning in arms, also major weakness in muscles, damaged Achilles tendons, hot and cold sensations, feelings of depression, symptoms of anxiety--- issues I had never before experienced as a healthy person. I had a course of treatments over several months accompanied by excellent advice which I followed. I am now 95% of my normal self. The knowledge, caring and willingness of this doctor to listen, is amazing. His staff are all knowledgeable, well trained, caring and helpful. I truly am grateful to this man who was willing to listen, diagnose me and treat me appropriately. Joan (nurse with many years experience)
I'm 50 years old. I was diagnosed with COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) 4 years ago. At that time, colds and flus would turn into bronchitis and I had to use antibiotics every time I got one. Two years ago, my lungs collapsed somehow, I couldn't breathe easily, I couldn't walk much, or do any hard physical work that I used to do.
I went to a regular family doctor, did the breathing test, and found out it was a severe condition, and progressive. I was told there was no way to fix it at all, and that one day I would be on a breathing machine/oxygen tank.
Since I started Dr. Hui's treatments, I've had no colds or flus. Now I use the puffer two to three times a week only to help with my breathing. I'm working every day, walking 2-3 hours every day with no difficulties. Dr. Hui is a great doctor! Safe and efficient treatments at his clinic! Thank you Dr. Hui!
A year ago my 19 year old athlete son became seriously ill and down 60 pounds with Salmonella (misdiagnosed at a Toronto hospital) and Crohn's. He was forced to leave university and despite three hospitalizations and strong (toxic) drugs, became more ill. His body was no longer absorbing nutrients, his appetite dropped markedly and his physical appearance no longer bore any resemblance to the successful, strong young man he had been. By a stroke of incredible luck we then learned of this incredible doctor - a man of integrity, wisdom and infinite kindness, and it is entirely through this doctor's knowledge, protocols and diligence that my son is now well. With infusions of natural supplements and careful monitoring, my son is once again HEALTHY. He is now back to competition with the strength, energy and vitality required in top level sports. His symptoms are completely gone! As a parent there is nothing more WONDERFUL than being able to say your children are healthy and living their dream. So this wonderful man has not only saved my son, but my son's mother (me!) and father. Bless you, Dr. - Thanks to you, our precious boy is returning to university and to his beloved sport.
