You wait on hold for 45 minutes, then get disconnected, then call back, then get transferred to the wrong department. Then, after sometimes literally 16 phone calls, you get connected to the right number, disconnected again, and then the doctor will be available in six months. When you see the doctor, they usually don't have time to hear about more than one problem. After three years, you still haven't gotten to see a doctor who has the time for you to ask about your second problem. Many of the doctors would be great if they were allowed to spend enough time.

When my pain management doctor, who was great, left, I got Dr. Evazyan whom is a HORRIBLE doctor. She Overdosed me & NEVER accepted responsibility for all the pills she gave me. She had me on 75 mcg Fentanyl, morphine, ketamine& naltrexone & she knew I was on xanax. After I got off life support she had not compassion for me at all. I had her wean me off of everything. Now she blames me for her over prescribing opioids & narcotics without telling me not to take this with that. She is a pill. Run run run 🏃 from this facility they treat you like trash. The urologist didn’t even treat me for a bladder infection. These cannot possibly be doctor’s. This is still a county hospital with doctors leaving everyday, so don’t get attached.

I was referred to USC by my cardiologist and eventually had a heart valve repaired at University hospital. The surgery and aftercare at USC was exceptional. I was in ICU for 5 days and the nurses and staff were very caring and professional. The ICU nurses all had at least 15 years experience in the ICU. The surgery was performed using robotic surgery, resulting in four small incisions, no zipper.
