Dr . Ward is awesome. Had a left hip replacement with her 2 years ago, and after meeting multiple surgeon's her care and expertise set her apart. pre-surgery to post surgery care, everything was handled amazingly well and the results have been great. Highly recommend her.

My MRI clearly stated non united fracture in my ankle. I’m in terrible pain and she put ankle sprang. I left there in the same pain with no plan and very hopeless. I wish I never bothered going.

Dr. Ward is absolutely amazing. She is kind hearted and really cares about her patients. She replaced both my mom’s knee. When you have an appointment with her, you will not have a long wait time. If you go about 10 mins before your appointment time you are in and out of her office in no time. she thoroughly answers all your questions and concerns. She is extremely knowledgeable and worked with my moms other specialist to ensure her medications would not conflict. I would recommend her to everyone. Absolutely incredible!!!

I had a RTKR in 2016 and an LTKR in 2017, both performed by Dr. Ward. I had severe, deforming OA and thanks to her and St. Mike's my life is normal , my health is excellent, and my once deformed legs are now straight. She gave me my life back and I'm forever grateful! I HIGHLY recommend her!

Dr. Sarah Ward..did my hip replacement Jan. 18/2018. She is very busy, yet took time to check on me after surgery and before I went home. She also responded to my emails. Dr. Ward treated my mother at st. Michaels after a car accident. Due to the extent of her injuries and her age, my mom had several teams assigned to her. St. Mikes is a busy place and I can appreciate how busy the staff is but there is a significant problem with communication and getting a full picture from all teams about her condition. However, it was clear that dr. Ward was as busy as the other doctors, maybe moreso, but she followed up and kept us informed as well as chasing other doctors when there was a concern about a deteriorating condition of a laceration (unrelated to orthopaedics) . She is clearly at the top of her field- knowledgeable, competent and attentive despite being as busy as she is.

Dr. Ward replaced both my hips and I've recovered without complications. She cares about her patients and even responds to emails while on vacation. She's dedicated, knowledgeable and friendly. I was so lucky to land her as my surgeon!
