Dr Sobel and her great team at Women's College Hospital performed the laparoscopic ovaries and fallopian tubes removal for me. She and Dr Gomez (Menopause expert) answered my questions in full prior to the surgery and made me feel at ease. Dr. Unger (Anesthesiologist) was friendly and thorough while assessing me and setting up the IV. Mira (nurse) was most caring and delightful. Nurses Rozina and Stephenie (Recovery room) were attentive and accomodating. My procedure was done smoothly and exactly as planned. Since it is a minimally invasive procedure, my recovery now at day 1.5 is quick. I felt minimal pain on the day of but I took the pain meds anyway for the first 24 hours to help with sleep and going to the bathroom. Thank you for making an otherwise unpleasant experience a lot easier.

Dr. Sobel performed my surgery at WCH. I was extremely nervous as I did not meet her until the morning of my surgery, but once I met her I knew I was in the best hands. She answered all of my questions, spoke with my husband after surgery and even called me before my post op appointment to go over my pathology. My incisions are smaller than any photo I have googled for laparoscopic surgery, and strategically placed in a way that they are not even noticeable. I could not be happier and feel so blessed that I had such an amazing surgeon.
