Dr. Gagnon was my doctor and delivered my twins via c-section in August 2023. She was incredible, personable and I received top notch care throughout my pregnancy. I cannot recommend her enough, along with her office staff. Thank you Dr. Gagnon.

Dr. Gagnon is a very knowledgeable and thorough OB. As a first time mother she helped put me at ease with each visit to her office during my pregnancy. She also provided an IUD for me when I was postpartum which was a smooth experience. Her front staff are kind and accommodating.

My experience with Dr. Louise-Helene Gagnon was not that great. First time mom, I had my baby in 2025. The first appointment that I had with her was actually with her med student. She was pleasant but I was expecting to sit down with Dr. Gagnon, at least with the first appointment. After about 15 mins. Dr. Gagnon pops in and quickly looks over my file. She's in a hurry and doesn't really care to know me. After the first appointment, I told my family doctor that I wanted to be referred to someone else but he convinced me to stick it out as it would take a long time to find someone else. The next few appointments, I had with other med students. One in particular, Justin i believe his name was, was condescending. Just made me feel stupid for asking certain questions. I hope he has worked on his bedside manner. Expect to wait 20 to 30 minutes for your appointment. I believe the longest I waited was 45 minutes and I even arrived early. Dr. Gagnon appears to just have too many patients and that makes her disorganized. Twice, she could not find my lab work. So, I had to go back to Lifelabs to redo it ! I confirmed with Lifelabs and they said they sent all the files to her office. Overall, I did not find my experience with Dr. Gagnon to be welcoming or comforting. She persuaded me to have an induction but didn't really explain to me the process or what to expect. She just handed me a pamphlet with the details. She failed to tell me that an induction could very well lead to an emergency c-section which happened to me. Expect to do your own research and be prepared to ask a lot of questions because this doctor will not help you in any way. I feel like I could have had my appointments through Zoom.

Friendly and punctual and full of knowledge and good advice, Dr. Gagnon and her staff provide great gynecological care for their patients. Would highly recommend.

Dr Gagnon was my OB for my first pregnancy. I was referred to her by my family doctor. I found her personable, knowledgeable, kind and caring. It was clear that informed consent is a big part of how she approaches patient care. Before making decisions concerning my pregnancy and birth planning she gave me all the information I needed to weigh options. She brought a personal touch to our appointments and interactions. She was easy to talk to and I appreciated her honesty and tact even when discussing difficult issues such as potential risks. My care plan and the advice I received from her felt personal and individualised. She found the balance between medcial and data-based judgements and personal intuition and always listened to and addressed my questions and concerns. Our appointments never felt rushed, even when she was running behind schedule. I trusted her completely to manage and oversee all aspects of my pregnancy care. I felt seen and heard as a patient. Beyond that, I felt like I had a true advocate in my corner, laser focused on my safety and well being. In summary: An amazing OBGYN with a human centred approach to patient care. I would highly recommend to any woman in need of an OBGYN, but especially to women who belong to racial and ethnic minority groups who may have additional concerns about cultural sensitivity and patient advocacy in medical settings.

Dr. Gagnon guided me through an extremely challenging pregnancy after a previous loss due to genetic abnormalities. She was understanding of my anxiety and always kept it real. I felt I could always talk to her about my concerns.

Dr. Gagnon is an exceptional and dedicated doctor. She is compassionate and knowledgeable. I saw her regarding stress incontinence. The surgery was successful and my life has changed for the better. I feel so fortunate to have had her as my surgeon. Michelle is also wonderful.

Dr. Gagnon's knowledge and detailed explanation of the surgical procedure I require, has put my mind at ease. I feel quite confident in having the surgery. I look forward to getting my quality of life back. I feel extremely fortunate to have her as my surgeon.
