College of Physicians of Canada and the American Academy of Pediatrics, with memberships in the American Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.\n\n \n\nDr. Ahmed is a lecturer of pediatric allergy at the University of Ottawa/ CHEO.\n\nDr. Ahmed received his medical degree from the University of Jordan (Jordan), then completed his internship in East Jerusalem (Palestine), followed by training in pediatrics at Soroka Medical Center/ University of Ben-Gurion (Israel). Thereafter, he obtained a Master's degree with merit in Advanced Allergy from Imperial College London (UK).\n\n \n\nDr. Ahmed relocated to Canada in 2007 and served as the head of medical services, lead of pediatrics and chief of standards committee in the Burntwood Regional Health Authority (Manitoba).\n\n \n\nDr. Ahmed was the first to perform clinical research in the field of Pediatric Allergy among the children of Nunavut; the EAACI study (Evaluation of Eczema, Asthma, and Allergies among the Children of Iqaluit) in 2016.\n\n \n\nDr. Ahmed is a member of the Royal College of Physicians Examination Board and an examiner for the Medical Council of Canada.\n\n \n\nDr. Ahmed has published the book \"OSCE Stations in Pediatrics\" in 2010, it aids pediatric residents and medical students in preparation for exams in pediatrics.\n\n \n\nDr. Ahmed served as a member of the Regional Advisory Committee for the Royal College of Physicians of Canada, representing Ontario and Nunavut throughout the years 2010-2016, and was a member of the Ontario Medical Association Council. \n\n \n\nDuring his career in 5 different countries, Dr. Ahmed was exposed to a huge diversity of clinical experience, clinical research, and academic teaching of medical students, family physician residents and pediatric
