I think he is knowledgeable but " old school" I had lost almost all my hearing and I heard him tell the audiologist " she just has a cold". He told me I had a circulation problem and put me on steroids. He misdiagnosed me, I have cochlear Ménière's disease with some permanent hearing loss.

Rude, uncouth, unhelpful, waited 4 months to see, 3 hours past my appointment he examined for a grand total of 2 minutes, grunted when I asked him a few simple questions and told me to come back on four months. Vaffanculo is all I have to say.

The doctor is arrogant and gets offended when patients ask questions. He actually yelled at me in front of his staff. I had a medical condition that was new to me, so I was asking questions to help myself. he takes it as questioning his authority. He also insults his patients with codenames. If he thinks a patient is stupid, he will tell his staff that he needs his "Monkey Juice", which seems to refer to a drink to help him deal with stupid people. He said this about me as I stood right there

Dr. Nabi impressed the heck out of me. Such a knowledgeable, nice, and insightful man. He has excellent bedside manner and a great personality to go along with it. I wish more doctors were like him. Does not mind doing some leg work, very thorough. Very pleased with all of his staff, everyone makes you feel very comfortable.

Dr. Nabi is a very intelligent doctor. When I took my mom for her appointment, I was kind of put down because he does not know how to interact with his patients. He was straight forward but very rude and at the same time. My mom had thyroid problems and he said she needed to get them removed whereas her primary care physician did not see the need. Keep in mind that my mom has had and open brain surgery and a cataract surgery within TWO YEARS and till this day she is recovering from the brain surgery. Doctor Nabi exaggerated ALOT about her sickness. In her first appointment he just touched her throat n gave a medication to take and he also sent her for testing. After the results came in he said it MIGHT be cancerous. The next appointment we went to he said it is cancerous and he can't do anything if it spreads (keep in mind that my mom DID NOT have another testing done between these two appointments, so I don't know how he came with the conclusion of it being cancerous). But basically I wasn't the only one who thought bad of his treatment n decision making. My sister and sister in law took my mom to doctor Nabi for various appointments and they did not like the way he acted with his patients and they too thought he exaggerated the sickness. At the end my mom had the surgery done and he removed only one thyroid gland and left the other because it was cancerous. Even her primary care doctor said she should wait off on the surgery because my mom is 60 and she is really weak and is still recovering from past surgeries AND has other medical problems. If only he told us that the results show that it's not cancerous but we should remove it to be on the safe side, we would have delayed it a bit longer. I am now sitting in the hospital with my mom while she is recovering. I DO NOT RECOMMAND HIM TO ANYONE IN BUFFALO ,NY OR NEIGHBORING AREAS. He is a very smart doctor but I would not trust him when it comes to decision making, all he does is hastens towards surgery.

Dr Nabi destroyed my nose Ina routine surgery for a deviated septum. I have no bridge now and he removed most cartilage. His license should be revoked. I could not sue at the time because Dr Nabi told me things would improve-- a huge lie. Instead as I ge it has gotten worse an I can't breathe through my nose a all. Because e excised so Much bone I cannot even wear glasses. If not for my faith and fortitude this could have destroyed me. It has taken it still on the quality of my life. Sad but true

I thought Dr Nabi was super helpful and very thorough. Found the answer to my problem in one sitting other Drs just prescribe antibiotics. He doesn't chit chat or hold your hand but I wasn't there for that. Only thing I wish he did was explain what he was doing when an 8 inch metal object is about to be inserted in your nose..lol sitting there for so long staring at them while waiting gets you a bit nervous..Otherwise I'm totally happy with my visit..The wait was very long but very worth it..thanks Dr..and his staff was friendly too.

Dr. Nabi is a gifted, wonderful doctor. I developed asthmatic wheezing and chronic cough 30 years ago. While I got some symptomatic relief (after several years of consulting more doctors than I can count) from an excellent pulmonologist, I was never given a diagnosis that made any sense to me. I saw Dr. Nabi in 2006 for what I told him were "sinus problems." He unceremoniously (but not unkindly) told me to recount specifically what was bothering me, and to stop diagnosing myself. If this what people consider gruff, so be it. After sending me for medical tests, Dr. Nabi gave me a real understanding of why I had the problems I have (nothing to do with my sinuses). It is true that Dr. Nabi is the opposite of punctual. Since his staff is happy to give feedback as to when to arrive if you call on the appointment day, I do not consider this a problem. I am happy to set aside an afternoon to accommodate Dr. Nabi's schedule to benefit from the services of such an excellent doctor.

Seen Dr Nabi 3/27/13 both ears were plugged with wax.My appointment was at 10:30.I did not see Dr Nabi until after 12:30. He put drops in only my left ear and didn't do anything to the right one. When I mentioned this he seemed confused, he was sick on that day. Dr Nabi did a throat test and I had a hearing test as well. It was after 3:00 when Dr Nabi told me I had moderate to severe hearing loss.More test were ordered for acid reflux which I've had for years. The staff was not very understandin of mycomplaint of not getting wax removal of both ears which was what myappointment was for. In addition Dr Nabi informed me that I had moderate tosevere hearing loss and needed hearing aids that would cost $7,000. To sum this up went back to my primary he cleaned out the ear Dr Nabi forgot to do and myhearing is fine as it was before seeing Dr Nabi...my time spent was close to 6 hrs.
