Dr. Kaplan has replaced my long-term rehab doctor for lumbar prolotherapy. He retired. He also offers therapies which my previous physician didn't perform. He has treated my back & foot thus far. I am walking so much better; resumed my 1 mile AM walks, am cleaning, doing yard work (which I had been limited with for 1 yr.) and biking. He will soon begin PRP for my shoulder. I look forward to being able to do much more during this Holiday Season than I was able to do last yr. ---even though we have COVID restrictions.
Dr Kaplan is everything a doctor should be. He got me out of back pain after a serious accident after all other doctors told me I had to learn to live with it. It took a while, but I was in pretty bad shape at the beginning. I eventually got back into the gym and feel very good. After that, he fixed my torn meniscus with PRP injections without surgery. He has a lot of ideas about how to treat the patient w/o surgery and they really work. If you are debating whether to go through with the treatments or not, trust him. You will be glad you did.
Always a great experience, the staff there at the Dent tower location is absolutely amazing , highly recommended!
Dr. Kaplan is kind - he is always concerned about my being comfortable and knowing what he is doing. He never makes me feel rushed when I ask questions. I would highly recommend him. You never wait too long to see him and his bedside manner is awesome.
Dr. Kaplan saved me after both of my pregnancies. I had an extremely hard time with the looseness of my ligaments around my hips and back after giving birth. It was so bad I could hardly walk. Enter Dr. Kaplan and prolotherapy. First off, I was amazed at Dr Kaplan’s overall knowledge of the human body, specifically the spine, and how my movements affected each muscle and bone and vice versa. He was incredibly professional which was very important to me since I felt a bit subconscious being just a few days postpartum. His office is relaxing and comforting and filled with friendly attentive people. After my consultation I felt very confident that he could help me. After just one session of prolotherapy I could walk without pain!!! After a few days I almost felt pre pregnancy normal again. Where I once felt loose and unstable was now tight and strong. I also added a new regimen of core and stability work to strengthen the entire region but I would never have been able to do that if I could not walk first! I would recommend Dr. Kaplan to anyone who is hoping to manage pain holistically and naturally. I’ve also gotten some spa services and participated in some yoga classes at his wellness center and I have thoroughly enjoyed it all!
Dr. Kaplan seams to have a wealth of knowledge to help with my back issues. He has been extremely helpful in getting me back into yoga! Thank you!
Extremely rude, arrogant, and condescending. He was confrontational when I challenged his diagnosis and dismissive of my concerns. I could hear him yelling at someone on his staff nearby during my visit which was completely unprofessional and not something that is appropriate in front of patients. I would highly recommend to anyone to steer very clear of this person as he cares about nothing but his own ego, certainly not his patients.
His new practice is awesome! He spent a lot of time with me at my initial visit and thoroughly explained everything to me. Much easier to get an appointment. His office staff is very friendly and helpful
Very rude and does not care if other factor are involved with you injuries. Also told me that my chiropractor and pain management doctor didn't know what they were doing and the procedures they were doing we're a waste of time and ineffective... Then I come to find out that those procedures he said were useless, he now claimes he's an expert at and speaks poorly about my doctor, who has been doing those procedures long before him.
Dr is extremely rude, does not listen to patient needs and concerns. Makes you feel very uncomfortable and does not show a caring attitude toward his patients. Strongly recommend going to a different doctor that cares about his patients and not just another number for his pocket. Also the sidewalks to enter are very slippery and they do not care if you fall while entering the building.
