I have had may dentists in my life. When I found Dr. Schnapp, he corrected many problems that were caused by previous dentists. He was able to come in on short notice in case of an emergency. I had an absessed tooth on many occasions and I was on antibiotics until the infection cleared up. He did a great job with a root cannal. He has corrected 5 previous cavities and they have held up well. I have been going to him for 11 years and my family is glad to have found him.

Help! Has anyone sued this guy and had any success? I can't tell you how incompetent he is and all the problems he has caused me. I have recently consulted a lawyer and will be reporting him to the Cdn and AB Dental Association's, the Better Business Bureau and Global News Consumer Reports. I'm about to lose a tooth due to his incompetence and it will cost me thousands more to have it pulled and replaced. Not to mention a discolored veneer he did that has to be replaced at my cost (because I won't let him touch me); and numerous, numerous other problems.

I went in with a toothache and left with a half completed job. His office keeps calling me for cleanings, when my problem is extreme toothache. Why would you wash your car if your engine is broken? Now, I changed dentists and was told that not only did Dr. Schnapp complete 50% of the work so that we would be forced to go back but he opened up another root canal causing an infection and pain on another tooth altogether. This new dentist tells me that he has to start the whole procedure over again and told me to go back to Dr. Schnapp to either get my money back or to complete the work. I promise I wont' go within 2 miles of that crook! Bait and switch. Keep bringing me for cleaning and ignore my actual problem. Don't fall for it and go somewhere else. I wish there was more regulation in Calgary as I need to file a formal complaint. Please let me know if you can tell me where.

He pulled one of my teeth a couple years ago. Very quick and thorough. Nice enough guy and I never experienced anymore pain than one would expect.

Dr. Marvin Schnapp is the absolute worst dentist whose services I have ever had the displeasure to use. Exercise extreme caution! Dr. Schnapp created a bridge for me that failed after two short years, leaving me no other recourse but implant surgery. He still owes me $4,600 for the work done (which he attempted to repay in NSF cheques) and refuses to make right on a bad situation. To guarantee my payment and alert other potential patients of danger, I have filed complaints with the Calgary Police Service (fraud) and Albert Dental Association and am considering small claims court.

This dentist couldn't complete a simple root canal on me, he filled my tooth and sent me home, until the infection cleared. I couldn't stand the pain and had to remove the temp filling on my own in the middle of the night using a steak knife and some JD. you think this is a joke but its true. I ended up just getting the tooth pulled the next day. Thanks for that. Tom Hanks isn't the only one, who had to do this....

This dentist worked on my 5 year old daughter did some fillings and every one of these fillings fell out more than once we would bring her back to his office and he just kept re-filling them but now we have found out that the worked he has done has been done incorrectly. My daughter just under went Dental surgery yesterday and had to have 7 teeth removed 5 teeth capped and 3 root canals all the teeth this doctor filled had rotted underneath and he just kept refilling them and not fixing the problem. We have reported him to the Dental Association and there is an active investigation going on. Doing our own personal research we have come to realize that we are not the only people in this situation due to this doctors negligence.
