Extremely disappointed to hear Dr. Ravi doesn't think my father needs an angiogram/stent when the CT scan clearly shows triple vessel disease. BUT, he was fine in saying an 'incomplete' treadmill test, where my father was only able to do 4 minutes adequate to not do follow up tests such as a Nuclear Medicine Cardiac Perfusion Scan where they could have stressed his heart using medications. GO GET A SECOND OPINION!!! Don't let Dr. Ravi tell you you are fine, when you can't walk without becoming short of breath, you have no energy, and your active life style is now sitting in a chair.
I brought my father in to see Dr. Ravi because he was experiencing blackouts. Dr. Ravi told me that the tests they ran indicated it was not his heart. During the same conversation, he spoke about my father like he was not in the room and used the words “he is old and feeble.” A week later I had to take my father to emergency for the same issue. It turns out it was his heart and they had to install a pacemaker. Perhaps Dr. Ravi is not always arrogant, condescending, and incompetent, but his misdiagnosis could’ve cost my father his life. I definitely will not be going back to him.
I am going to agree with the most recent review. I don't know what has happened to this office in the last year, but it is dangerously unorganized. There was a french receptionist last time I went, prior to this last appointment, and she knew her stuff. She was non-stop busy but was pleasant and so friendly. There was another girl with her but she spent most of her time Facetiming someone the entire time I was in the waiting room. And the new front staff seem so lost and I do feel bad for them. Maybe there is no training or sense of guidance but with the way Dr. Ravi rushes patients, I am not surprised. The only good thing left at the office are the two technicians. Even when they do not know where their patients are, as the flow is very off, they still smile and are kind. I am now seeing another cardiologist and the office flow and atmosphere is like night and day! Ravi needs to retire like yesterday!
Extremely unorganized office. Office staff has no idea what they are doing. We felt rushed and uncomfortable like we were an inconvenience by being there. We have been seeing Dr. Ravi for years for my husbands heart condition and I don’t know what has happened in the last few years but the office seems to be falling apart. Office nurse and man who does heart testing have always been very pleasant. We hope that next time we come for our appointment that things will be running the way they used to and that we will not feel rushed or like we shouldn’t be asking questions. Dr. Ravi is knowledgeable.
My husband saw Dr Ravi today . What a wonderful doctor . So friendly , outgoing and personable. Doctor Ravi had taken the time to review my husband file before the visit today. Dr Ravi asked alot of questions in order to gather useful information pertaining to my husband's condition. Doctor rather explained test results and was able to explain my husband heart condition so we could both understand . He allowed us to ask questions and never made us feel rushed . Doctor Ravi did more tests today during this visit and after the tests were complete invited us back in his office to explain the results. This Doctor is beyond exceptional . His staff is kind , polite and friendly . The young lady at the desk I didn't get her name was very busy and never did she show any sign of being busy . So calm and polite to every patient . Thank you Dr Ravi for being an exceptional cardiologist .
My husband’s been here for 15 years this Dr doesn’t know anything except the same old tired protocols that are being abandoned by many other doctors. This man should be end of life only.
Two words, RUDE AND ARROGANT! I have switched cardiologists. He could care less about his patients. Only there for a paycheck. Can’t understand his broken English either. I felt a load off my chest that i would never have to see him again! He pays peanuts, he gets monkeys!
This is honestly the most unorganized office I have ever seen. The secretaries don’t know if they are coming or going, and they are clueless when it comes to anything medical. They constantly look like they’re scattered. I’m not sure what happened from last year to this year, but it’s quite scary. And Dr. Ravi is a very self-centred man. he mumbles, and has no interest in my medical issues. I feel like he’s constantly brushing off his patients, even though he looks like a hero when he first comes out to greet you. Technicians are very nice, and take their time with you, but the secretaries, and Dr. Ravi, are on a completely different level. I have decided to change cardiologist, because the way the office is functioning now, or I should say, lack thereof, has me worried and I would prefer to feel safe, and that’s not the place.
I just love Dr Ravi he has been keeping me going for 14 years now.
I first met Dr. Ravi when he was on-call one night in the ER in Sudbury in 1998. He was then, and continues to be nothing but professional, helpful and caring. Nearly 25 years later, I am happy to have met him, to continue to see him and, that he was on call that day.
