Very clean , amazing nurses My mother was there for few weeks . No complaints .

Staff lack training and compassion when it comes to someone with chronic pain issues. In my experience the nurses are pleasant enough, until they realize the patient requires a bit more help than the others and needs medicine administered often (which the patient is entitled to and is obviously prescribed as such). Then they tend to get an attitude. The doctor absolutely does not come often enough for a place that is meant to be an acute care hospital. Many medical issues that arose where doctor should have come to examine were brushed off for over a week until the next time the doctor was coming in. The staff also never knew when she was coming next. I’m not sure how that’s not considered negligence. Before being sent home, the occupational therapist never spoke to us to ensure we had the tools needed for the patient to comfortably go home (we did not). Again someone who did not meet their job requirement. The only good thing I have to say is about the physiotherapist and especially the social worker. They were wonderful and extremely helpful in setting up something that was needed for us. Unfortunately though, the majority of the experience was quite negative. We were recently told some more time in rehab might be beneficial but declined as we would not wish to return here.

A family member was in St. Joseph CCC , recently for 6 weeks rehab. Considering they were under staffed and over worked, there is NOTHING BAD our family can say about the care our family received. The cleaning staff was just as competent and caring. Wonderful experience all way around. If ever needed in the future, sincerely hope we get SJCCC again. Thanks to all.

Everyone from the Ron's to the maintenance were absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately from what I heard, they are grossly undervalued. They were there for my family in our time of need, she'd some tears, made sure my mother's visitwhere fed and rested. Thank you, Sue, LJ, Karen, EVERYONE. You are a Godsend to those I need. I will be forever grateful.

All around amazing staff and personel.. receive wonderful care from everyone

Mother was transferred from hospital and given Maxeran, which caused her tardive dyskinesia cause they gave it for too long even with the FDA Warning. I brought up many symptoms and Candy the head nurse said we see that often in elderly patients. What a quack she is. After 7 years my mother still suffers from tardive dyskinesia. Dr.s don't see their patients unless the nurse requests to see her or the family. They just come in and sign off on their orders. They finally kicked her out cause she wasn't progressing. But if they would have checked her medication and read the side effects...the symptoms that I brought up were all there. Louise Poirier Benoit. 705-965-9910

I had a family member at St. Joseph's CCC . He did well thanks to the excellent care from nursing, physiotherapists and RTs, dietary, cleaning staff, physicians, and all staff who work together for the patient. He visited SJCCC to support others there - a sign of his good care! Thanks to all!
