I met Dr.V during my ER visit when I was worried about my situation. I can't thank her enough for putting me at ease right away. She made sure she checked me out thoroughly. Long story short, Dr.V is now my OB-GYN and I couldn't have asked the universe for a better Dr. She is no doubt the best Dr. I have ever encountered. Amazing bed side manners, and the most caring Dr. She truly makes you feel like you matter, and are not just a number to be seen. From the bottom of our hearts, my partner and I thank you. Dr. V was very helpful throughout the time I had to sit in the hospital, I thought I was having a miscarriage and she rushed to make sure everything was done to ease my anxiety, and to make sure my baby was safe. I was watching her tend to many other patients as it was very busy that day! She handled herself very professionally and was patient with the chaos in the emerg.

I called an ambulance after having 3 "twinges" in my heart. I don't remember much of what went on at Michael Garron Hospital, however, friends told me that Dr. Vairavanathan was amazing! My first heart tests were normal, but she kept on investigating. Fortunately, she discovered what was wrong, an aortic dissection, which is very uncommon and fatal in 1/2 the cases! She summoned an ambulance and rode with me to Toronto General Hospital where I had surgery within an hour. I remained in ICU and rehab for 2 months. Although I don't remember her whatsoever, I am thrilled that she SAVED MY LIFE!!!!With unending gratitude - five stars!!!!! Joy Gilbert
