I am not in the habit of taking the time to write reviews, but my experience with Dr. Koos and his staff at ORA Oral Surgery & Implant Studio was nothing short of awesome so I felt compelled to say something so that others could be tuned in to a great oral surgeon in Chicago. I just had 5 wisdom teeth out (yes 5 because I had an extra one) and I couldn't be more pleased. The process was smooth from beginning to end and I was snoozing through the whole thing. I was referred to some other guy by my dentist and after checking out my options online I am so glad that I came directly to Dr. Koos. Thank you for the great work.

I too would like to share my oral surgery experience in Chicago with Dr. Koos. I traveled from Ohio for treatment because of all of the great things that I was hearing and reading online. As I was reading other reviews I noticed someone else actually came from Cleveland, so that solidified my decision. I had a few dental implants placed and needed bone grafting within my sinus cavity to create enough attachment for 2 implants. I couldn't be happier with his sincere disposition and gentle, expert surgical touch. The recovery wasn't without some pretty decent soreness, but when you need your sinus lifted I don't think that you could expect anything less. I have been back to Chicago to ORA Oral Surgery & Implant Studio now about 4 times and had my final crowns put on this last week and I can finally chew again on my left side! I know he sees a lot of patients, but he always made me feel special and really listened, something I don’t encounter much in healthcare these days.

I went to see Dr. Koos to get all four of my wisdom teeth extracted. I couldn't have asked for a better doctor! He is very gentle and showed that he truly cared about my well being. I was informed of everything I may experience after the surgery and was prepared because of the clear instructions from Dr. Koos. I will be recommending him to any and all of my friends and family for any oral surgery they may need.

I have been a patient of Dr. Koos's for a couple of years now. I was first referred to him by my general dentist in downtown Chicago to have implants and my impacted wisdom teeth removed. I was terrified about the concept and had been putting off the procedures for a few years. Everything was a breeze from beginning to end. I was thoroughly impressed by the care that I received. Also, I have sleep apnea and needed to use a CPAP machine, which I hated. He made an awesome oral appliance for me to use, which has helped me out so much. After doing research on several doctors in the area close to where I live I found myself discouraged with the selection I had in having my old bridges replaced. My general dentist who I had been seeing for 20+ years recommended I just have the old bridges redone. I then had a friend at work tell me about how amazing their experience with Dr. Steve Koos and his team was. I had no choice but to travel a lot further than I wanted to get a second opinion. Dr. Koos's warmth and regard towards my fear of having MORE dental work done was incredible. He put me at ease and assured me that having implants placed to replace my bridges and give me individual teeth was the way to go. From the initial consultation to all my follow up visits, Dr. Koos and his team of young professionals provided me with the best dental care I have ever had. The team was sweet and respectful. Dr, Koos's expertise shows in his work. My visits were short and extremely effective! I can't say enough great things!

I've never been blown away by a medical professional's office and staff like I was at Ora. The ambiance is very chic and the technology was top notch - electronic forms registration with digital pen for signatures, DirecTv in the patient rooms, iPad/tablet for showing procedure videos and most importantly, 3-D rendering with rotational views of my mouth. The staff was also very friendly and eager to answer my questions regarding procedure codes. Dr. Koos was very informative using a 3-D model of my mouth to explain how he would address my need for an implant. The initial quote was very reasonable compared to what my insurance had speculated. Despite going through an implant, I'm looking forward to going back to this office and I would most definitely recommend anyone to go to see Dr. Koos at ORA Oral Surgery & Implant Studio.

vI can't say enough about Dr. Koos and everyone at ORA Oral Surgery and Implant Studio. I've been a patient of Dr. Koos' for the past two years having gone through a tooth extraction and bone graft which was then followed up with an dental implant and crown. Throughout my treatment, Dr. Koos and his staff were awesome. I never had oral surgery before and was a bit concerned about the whole process and being sedated. Dr. Koos walked me through everything step by step and spent a ton of time discussing all the details with me to make sure that I was comfortable with everything going on. I have to say that the treatment and care that I received from Dr. Koos and his staff was excellent. After each stage of treatment I had no issues with pain and had a quick and easy recovery. Dr. Koos extracted my wisdom teeth last Friday. He was very professional and nice. He addressed all my questions with patience. I had a very good experience before and during the surgery, as well as during the recovery period. He was available at his cellphone during the weekend. His staff is excellent as well. The dental studio is very nice and the decor makes you feel relaxed and comfortable.

Dr Koos removed my wisdom teeth a few days ago. I was expecting to be in some pain for the following days and for the procedure to be more complicated than it was but I have experienced absolutely no discomfort. All the staff were professional and friendly, I was given great post-op care and even a personal phone call the night of the operation by Dr Koos to check how I was doing. I thoroughly recommend ORA!
