Dr Doute performed surgery on my ankle in late 2020. His adept surgical skills are to be commended. Because of him, my serious injury was remedied with only one surgery. I did have to wait to be seen on occasion, but never more than a half hour unless I arrived earlier than my scheduled appointment time. The staff was always friendly and helpful, even though I was not a low maintenance patient. I am now walking 15,000 steps a day with minimal discomfort, thanks to Dr Doute’s surgical prowess. Considering that my whole foot was detached from my leg prior to surgery, I couldn’t be happier with my results and forward progress.

Dr Doute may be a good surgeon, but the post-op communication or lack of it from him and his office is abysmal. After my 85 year old dad's knee replacement and follow appt. to remove the staples, his incision began to leak and get infected over the weekend. After calling Dr.'s office Monday-Wed, they finally returned my call to have him in for a Thursday appt. Dr. blamed my 84 year old mother for how long he stayed in the hospital a week and a half prior on the infection. He "wrote" an Rx for antibiotic saying he needed to fill that day, but failed to sign it so Walgreens would not fill. After Walgreens contacted Dr. office and 3 family members, we have yet to get a response from Dr. or his office 24 hours later. A responsive Dr. and staff would have accepted pictures of the incision on Monday and called in a Rx. Find a different Dr. if you want adequate post op care/responsiveness.

Dr Doute is thorough and takes his time reviewing your case history to give you the best care plan.

Do not go see this Doctor. I arrived for my appointment @ 11am after they called and changed it from 9am to 11 and was never seen by the doctor. I arrived at 11am and walked out unseen @ 12:45pm. I asked the front desk attendant how much longer it would be I have to get back to work and the Doctor threw his ink pen on the desk, but never acknowledged me. She quickly said I can reschedule you. I then asked can he call me to give me my results and was told he could not do that. Mean while Dr. Damien Doute is sitting right in front of me, he gets up from his seat and walk pass me as if I wasn't there. The front desk attendant then ask what would be another day I can come back in. There is no customer service in this office or concern for the patients. I was made to feel like a second class citizen, scum. Needless to say I still do not know what is wrong with me and this Doctor and his office can care less I rate them a -0!!!!!!!!!!!! They can not charge my insurance for me sitting in a room and never getting seen.

Lowest level of patient care I have ever received. Doctor's visits with him were a complete waste of time and money. He made alot of excuses about "what he was setup up to do". Sent me to multiple MRIs and his "designated" vendor even though I told him that prior to one of my operations the MRI showed nothing. Brought him X-rays, MRIs and examines from multiple Doctors as well as post operative reports yet he waste my time talking about the MRI he ordered. I would not recommend him to anyone!

Back in 2011 I decided to seek medical treatment for my knees. I'd been in a car accident where my knees went into the dashboard, did the recommended physical therapy and went on with life. However, over the years they began to bother me to the point that I was occasionally using a cane. Dr. Doute didn't rush, found out exactly what my issues were and prescribed a plan to help me regain my mobility. He even pulled up my xrays and pointed out everything to me and showed me a model of a knee joint so I would know EXACTLY what my issues were. You can tell he genuinly cares about his patients and in my opinion goes above and beyond. I am still seeing him and am extremely pleased with the amount of time he spends with me and the quality of my results.

He is by far the best surgeon, and I have had my share. Look past the personality issue (if you have one) and the long waits in his office, it is worth the wait - - he is "STELLAR". After 25 years I am completely pain free and I totally believe it is 100% because of Dr Doute.
