The next day they put me on generic Mira lax and nurses was mixing it in a small bathroom cup size glass with ice water out my water pitcher which didn't work because it should have been mixed with 8 ounes of room temp water so I was discharged without having a BM while in the restroom and the Dr and head nurse discharged me while I was in bathroom on commode and she asked me how long I would be because they needed the room. I wlll say this, MAKE SURE IF YOU OR YOUR FAMILY MEMBER IS IN MY AGE GROUP I am 70 THAT SOMEONE BE 29TH THEM AT METHODIST WILLOWBROOK NURSES WORK LONG HOURS THEY ALSO HAVE CONTRACT NURSES ON WEEKENDS AND FROM MIDNITE TO 5:30 or 6 you are on your own. I thought the Drs and outpatient care I received would be the SAME excellent care in hospital NO NO AND NO. Treated very badly by nursing staff. Before they knew my husband was spending the nights with me they lied about what services they had provided. One even told me that since I was at the end of the hall they forgot about me. I had had serious surgery and no one came in that night to check on me. One nurse when she was there told me I was a whiner.
