Bozeman Deaconess Hospital

This place is incompetent. They dropped the ball in getting my previous records , or notifying me so I could obtain them. Each person pointed to someone else. In the end, it was "no ones" fault. Seems I am the only one who had to deal with the consequences of their apathy.

I took my husband to the ER at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital just hours after his release from a Billings, MT. hospital after a TURBT. He was experiencing severe bleeding, clotting, and was unable to void his bladder. The exam room he was placed in was not clean. There was dirt in the corners on the floor and spots where liquid had been spilled and left until it dried. It took more than an hour for them to find a Foley catheter, and an actual physician didn't look at him until we had been there for almost 4 hours. When the ER doctor wanted to admit him, I called his Billings doctor, who initiated a Life Flight to get him back to Billings. The ER doctor got very angry with me for 'going behind his back'. He complained about how hard he had worked to get my husband admitted and said he didn't think surgery was indicated. My husband's doctor met us at the ER of the Billings hospital and took him to emergency surgery as soon as he was stable. I will never go to this hospital again.

I was in a car crash. When I got to the hospital the ER doc didn't even examine me. Every time I told him an area that hurt all he said was that it was normal. Before he released me I asked him to check me for a concussion, he told me that since I didn't lose consciousness I couldn't possibly have a concussion. Even though I went face first into the air-bag. I am still having headaches from the car crash almost two months later. I felt very ignored by the doctor and the nurses in the ER. If there was another ER in the Bozeman area I would pay more to go there rather than this ER.
