I had a TKR and spent one night at SSH. The entire experience was very pleasant, the nurses and aides attentive and very pleasant.

If you go into emergency you’re taking your life in your own hands. That’s all I will say Because it says it all. To much to write to explain why I wrote that phrase!!!!

I'd also like to comment on the fact of the staff speaking different languages... Especially rude in a professional setting! Speak your native language any place you please, but not in the hospital! I felt like I was in a third world country. The bathrooms were disgusting!

When I was there they had an unusually high volume of patients, that being said, as I was waiting for a doctor I heard a guy in blue scrubs responding to a female employee saying " she doesn't want to change into a Johnny in the hallway" his response was "well she'll just have to wait longer"... Who that man was... Did you really expect a female patient to change clothes in the middle of the hallway packed with beds on the right and left sides with people!!??!! Nobody would! The guy had a callus attitude towards the situation.... I almost said something , he's just lucky I wasn't the person that refused to change in the hallway!!!

This hospital is the worst of the worst. Every experience gets worse with the most cynical and disrespectful staff I’ve ever met. Nurses treat patients like they don’t matter and ignore them for 3+ hours screaming in pain. Ripped blankets off of a naked patient in the hallway in front of everybody as if she was an object not a person. Patient left alone on ultrasound floor for hours waiting. Patient had to call 911 while admitted to the hospital just to receive any form of care or attention after 5 hours of no help. I’m telling you if you want adequate care go literally anywhere else.

The worst experience I ever had at the ER. One of the staff members at the check out desk was asleep on her desk, over heard her telling her coworker that she had ben up vomiting all night. Why did she come to work sick? Being left in the hall way is inhuman. It's a brech of HIPPA to be out in a hall way with all the other pts listening to your business. The nurses were terrible. They walk right by you and don't make eye contact. God forbid you might need something. There was a puck bag under my gurney. I had to finally ask for a pillow and blanket. My surgery kept being delayed. When I finally got up to pre op after almost 12 hours it was much better. The nurses were kind and attentive. Post op I was rushed out.animals are treated better at the vet. That's all!

Checked my daughter in for sore throat, body aches, runny nose and asthma. We sat there for over 2 hours and watched people who came in after us get called in before us and another patient asked the older blonde lady at the desk about being seen because she too have noticed other patients being called in and the older lady working behind the desk seemed agitated that the woman was questioning her and she told her it’s not first come first serve, it’s whoever they consider to be the sickest. Meanwhile I hear a guy crying in pain and complaining he can’t breathe and they kept ignoring him. That was my first and last time going to this hospital.
