I went there for the first time as my family doctor sent me for mamography... then, échographie, then biopsy.... waiting for the results now. But, all I can say all the specialists that I met At the breast clinic were awesome!!! Very professional!! As I was scared, they were very reassuring!!! They all helped me in that non fun process. I can only thank them. I remember Dc. Samson who have done my biopsy, she was fabulous!! Also the Dc. That have done my échographie before her was also fabulous and compassionate!!(I forgot her name) I was to stressed!!! Even the receptionist were smiling every time I went there!!! Good job guys!!
I gave Birth to TWO of my daughters. 1, who is now 6 & our baby who is 5 months old. I love our daughter and the nurses are EXCELLENT! But I would have to complain about two things. 1. their restaurant food ain't the greatest and the Proposer Aux Beneficiaires arent the greatest. We haven't slept all night due to to complications to our new born daughter and when they came to clean the room for another patient who was about to come. the spoke loud, opened all the light not considering us who where in the room next door. BUT other thent hat al the rest WAS EXCELLANT! :)
Had to have HIP SURGERY on july 26th 2017, they called me 6 days prior telling me to stop 1 of my 3 meds to prep. They took blood samples and all that, Came the day of surgery they had to postpone it because I had to stop taking 2 of my 3 meds instead. There was no way for me, the patient, to know that! What a waste of time and effort and I'm here suffering
I was admitted by ambulance after being struck by a car on my motorcycle. I suffered a medium concussion, laceration to my head and road abrasion on my left wrist. They gave me intravenous medication for the pain along with 3 Tylenol which lasted for about 1 hour. They never tended to my blood soaked wounds and was parked in a holding room 9 hours after 1 head MRI, multiple xrays and 2 EKGs (for some reason they thought I suffered a heart attack - morons) until the attending doctor finally signed my release. I wasn't allowed any water, nor any more pain relief medication. The nurses were not rude but their level of apathy was astonishing. This hospital is more of a body garage than a trauma center. The nurses were more interested in socializing with each other at the nursing station than tending to the many moaning patients in obvious pain in the emergency. As a medieval hospital this place is top notch but as a modern hospital you're better off going home and having your dog lick your wounds.
Terrible Hospital. Had a car accident, waiting at the emergency from 5:00 pm to midnight and no doctor did call me. I left the hospital without seeing a doctor. If you ask question about this long waiting (7 hours), the answer is very rude and you go back to your seat so humiliated. I never heard anything good about this hospital and I will never go back.
Horrible. My mother had back surgery, and was in a bed from the 70' s, had a crank to adjust it! Nobody came when she called because she was in excruciating pain. When she was discharged from neurology, no wheel chair was brought, no discharge instructions. She never met with a physical therapist... I had read the horrible reviews, but i didn't think it would be so bad. If you can, avoid that place!
I was taken to the emergency following a car accident. I felt severe lower back pain immediately after we were hit from behind at 60 km/hr. My experience at Sacre-Coeur was horrible. They put a brace on my neck because they thought a spine fracture would paralyse me. They took a scan of my neck but they didn't give me the results until 14 hours later. I was kept ovenight waiting for the results which proved to be a nightmare. They told me to click for nurse service but it would take more than 30 minutes before someone came. I asked for painkillers and it took more than an hour for them to bring them. I spoke in English and was asked why don't I speak French. They refused to answer in English. They were rude and unprofessional. When I complained that the neck brace was too tight and hurting my ear, they told me that's the way it must stay. It may me feel they wanted me to suffer. When breakfast was served they placed the tray next to the bed and told me someone else would help me eat. I waited 2 hours and when someone came to remove the tray, he asked me why I didn't eat. I explained to him that because of the neck collar, I couldn't move my neck. He placed a piece of cheese on my chest, he spread some jelly on my toast and and handed it to me. He opened the juice and left it on the table. When I told him the jelly soiled my gown, he said that's not a problem. When I remarked that I couldn't bend my neck, he placed a straw in the juice container and left the juice on the table. I couldn't reach sideways to grab the juice but he didn't seem to care. He was so unsympathetic to my situation that I told him to leave. I felt like vomiting and pressed the button for help but nobody came. When I heard voices in front of my cubicle I called out for help. The person that answered asked me rudely why I was screaming and asked me what was the problem. I told him I felt like vomiting so he brought me a bed pan and gave it to me saying someone will help you.Nobody came.I vomitted into the bed pan. When I was released, my husband asked for a wheel chair. When he asked a second time, the nurse told him he can get a wheel chair himself at the entrance of the hospital. In general, I was terribly disappointed by the lack of professionalism from the majority of the staff we dealt with. I hope I will never need to go there again.
My husband spent 10 hour in the emergency room with our three year old son who had a very high fever, there were six people in the waiting room and they just sat there, the doctors didn't call pacients for hours in a row, he could hear the nurses laugh, nobody cared about the fact that there is a sick child waiting for so long. I wish they get to wait in the emergency room with their kids for 10 hours!!!
