Terrible waiting time 7 hrs and counting .no reason for this delay . Canada healthcare needs an update because it's free we shouldn't garbage doctors and their altitudes.tginking it's ok .

Abusive er nurse: I was brought to the hospital by ambulance bc of complications while recovering from Cancer surgery. I was given lots of medications for pain, nausea, and anxiety. A new nurse came on shift she refused me my prescribed mental health medication for hours before a doctor made her give me my medication. Then she refused to give me Zofran with my morphine injection even when my record clearly documents an extreme opiate sensitivity, the nurse said it would be good that I vomit. I hava a chest full of sutures from my back all the way accross my chest to my back on the otherside. I immediately started vomiting again after not having vomited for a good 12 hours. The nurse then proceeded to call me a liar and said that I did understand French and she refused to help me and said I had to leave. I got up vommited everywhere. I was so full of medication that I didn't know what day it was or even my home address. I collapsed on a bench in the hospital hallway and was in and out of consciousness for several hours. So there I was a woman alone with a chest full of sutures and surgical drains hanging from my sides, vomiting sleeping on a bench in a public hospital hallway. Never go to this hospital ER unless you have someone with you who can advocate for you and speaks French. The doctors seem okay but the nursing staff in the ER are abusive. I want to be clear that this review is just about the ER. In every other chum department I have been treated respectfully and compassionately like any medical patient should be. #er #nurse #abuse

I want to give 5 star to MD Caroline Ranger as well ! I’ve been visited 21 May 21 in Chum hospital by her, She did a clean and very fast job done Dr. Ranger was very Caring , calm, understanding and good explainer for patient I regard this valuable doctor.

Merci au personnel des soins intensifs qui ont fait preuve d’un grand humanisme en payant le taxi a l’epouse d’un patient qui venait d’arriver au canada et qui n’avait que des euros sur elles pour lui permettre de rendre visite a son mari en pleine nuit. I've had 3 stays in this hospital recently between Dec 2017 and Jan 2018, mainly in the cardiac department, and as a patient, I'm very impressed with the facilities and the staff, especially the great nurses in all of the cardiac departments. As a patient, my care was very good, with lots of attention from the doctors and nurses. The new hospital was well organized, very clean and modern. As an outpatient, I've had some long delays for appointments, over 4 hours to see the doctor from the time of the appointment on at least 2 different occasions. The underground parking can be limited (often full after mid-morning and in the afternoons) and very expensive for even short visits.
