We like Dr. Bays. She always listens, seems to be understanding. but what i don't really like - is that she never give a detailed answer. so i have to get online and find myself. I understand that she doesn't have much time to explain every little detail to us, but when you pay $120 for a visit - i think she needs to spend more time talking over our issues. But overall we like her. We also like that she doesn't pressure us into giving our baby shots.

Dr. Bays is absolutely wonderful. After 4 years and two other psychiatric doctor/nurse practitioners, we have finally found a good fit with her. She seems engaged with her patients, is a good listener and very understanding. My daughter sees her for ADHD management, and I couldn't ask for a better doctor. She really cares about the total patient, not in a hurry to get you out of her exam room or completely out of touch with the patient or parents. She is a great doctor, a great example of the sort of person who should be a pediatrician. The office she works out of is large and non-cramped, and the wait is not very long, which is a big deal in this city apparently.

Biography

Dr. Stephanie Bays is a lifelong Missouri resident. She lives in Gladstone with her husband and 3 high spirited children. She attended college at Central Methodist in Fayette, MO and KCUMB for medical school. Dr. Bays did her residency at Children’s Mercy Hospital and spent 2 years at CMH Northland UCC before joining Pediatric Care North in 2009. Dr. Bays is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She enjoys knitting everything she can in her free time. She is honored to have the privilege of taking care of your children. She loves taking care of kids of all ages and has special interests in learning disabilities and behavioral health management.
