Dr. Justin Sporrer performed a posterior laminectomy which fused my L-5 to my S-1. I had five opinions for this gnawing back pain surgery, and he won the rights to cut into me because of several qualities that my wife and I found to be commanding. He first told us, that he would not perform the operation if he did not think it would help me. (Wow sometimes hard to believe that honesty prevailed over the pay check). Secondly, his gracious fun personality gave new definition to "bed-side manors." He was cheerful, bright, smiling and all around agreeable person. Thirdly, his staff was so incredibly professional, from beginning to end. Today I had my 3 month check up and it remained that way. I remain on the active recovery list and was told that my invasive scares had virtually vanished and my recovery was ahead of schedule. Now its up to me to remain on this path with some scheduled therapy. I am an ardent fan of my doctor, and will remain grateful for my spinal recovery. Thank you "Doc", job well-done.
