My son just had laser surgery done by Dr Goldberg’s office. The medical testing and care were thorough and compassionate. My son has a few disabilities that the Dr and staff worked to provide him with respect and dignity. Dr Goldberg even referred him to a specialist regarding a specific vision concern related to his disability. Care the day of surgery and after remained compassionate and caring. It was clear that the goal was always to improve my son's outcome, rather than charging extra fees.

I visited this doctor twice and unfortunately had very long wait times on both occasions. In my experience, the focus seemed to be more on scheduling additional visits rather than addressing my underlying issues. I also found the billing practices to be unfair and disappointing, and it appears that these issues have not changed over time. Based on my experience, I would not return or recommend this clinic for eye care. I encourage anyone considering a visit to review the information available on the CPSO website regarding this doctor.

Dr Goldberg’s office has been completely life-altering for my son. We first arrived after shocking news that his high myopia and nystagmus left him unable to see well enough to learn to drive, with no expectation that it could be improved. Even reading was a difficult task. Devastating to a young teenage boy with dreams of learning computer programming and driving. We had found the office through researching for anything to help his vision improve. RevitalVision appeared to be a possible way to help retrain his brain to make the most of his vision, and contacted Dr. Goldberg's office to schedule an appointment. Detailed testing led to new glasses optimizing his vision and renewed hope. The specialized glasses arrived quickly and online therapy was easy to do at home. We visited the office every few months for further assessments and saw benefits from the program. Each time we found the staff, office manager, and Dr. so willing to help my son, who is neurodiverse (ASD, Tourette's), feel safe and welcome. The trust we built allowed us to consider LASIK surgery when he was old enough to help improve his myopia and possibly provide him with better, more consistent vision than glasses or contacts could. Dr Goldberg went over the surgery in detail and had a clear and realistic goal. A treatment plan was developed, taking my sons disabilities into account in a respectful manner. As it is now more than a few months into his recovery, I can say the care provided the day of, as well as at each follow-up, was personal, caring, and understanding of my son's needs. My son seems to have passed the initial goal and has just gotten his learner's permit with no vision concerns. I suggest if you or a family member has held off on surgery due to concerns about involuntary movement or anxiety on how understanding the dr or the staff would be to those with support needs to book an appointment and see if you or they are a good candidate after all.

Worst clinic I’ve ever visited. Poorly run, terrible and outdated advice.

Very disappointed. I used to have lots of respect for this Doctor, until my last visit. like everyone else, I expected a doctor/ patient experience only instead It felt like I walked into a pushy sales center. I found it to be extremely unprofessional because of price gouging.

This used to be a good visit, the new system and computer sign in and then told ohip only covers appt every 2 yrs wanting a payment instead of making the appt for the next year so its covered. Charging to send the info to the family dr is bs. Weve been coming her for close to 10 yrs now the bew desk staff dont speak proper on the phone. I will seek a new dr for my disabled visually impaired daughter who gets disability and should be covered for this.. who can afford 125. Extra these days.. just bs ... dr goldberg is good at his job is kind but this is over the top

Total rip off... I signed a paper 10 years ago saying any touchups would be free, only to find out they wanted to charge me $1500 in "tests" before getting laser eye surgery again. Totally false advertising

This place is a joke absolutely disgusting. I’m not sure what happened to the two young ladies there but I am very concerned about this man even being a doctor when him and his son or nothing by it. Business men..

I’ve been coming to this office for years. I have never had a complaint Dr.Goldberg and Melinda are a breath of fresh air and made me feel so comfortable during surgery very calming, professional, Melinda is very straight to the point in a loving way and makes sure is running smooth and Angela is such a lovely receptionist. My recent visit in the optical left a very sour taste in my mouth the new young lady is very rude and ignorant and I just can’t shake this experience! Avoid the store unless you would like to go home feeling awful. They need staff like Dr.Goldberg’s office. Very disappointed considering I’ve been buying glasses for years there.
