Our family has been going to Dr. Salidas for over 30 yrs - he is a kind, gentle, knowledgeable dentist. He is very professional, yet cares for his patients, and their individual needs.

I have been going to Dr. Salidas for many years. We started going here when my husband and I were younger and broke, he did my husbands bad tooth for under $100.00 because we couldn't afford any more, now that we both have good jobs with dental coverage they are still getting our business because of how we were treated before we had good coverage. Lucinda used to be harsh at times but only if you are missing your scheduled appointments, sometimes we forget that if we don't cancel our appointments they have an empty chair and then don't get paid. Would you like to go to work and not get paid for an hour? and anyways she doesn't even work there anymore, their daughter took over and is very nice.

Over several decades I have been lucky to have some of Canada's best Dentists. In North Bay I have gone to Dr. Salidas for a few years. He and his crew are absolutely excellent. He recently repaired a rear molar which was causing me huge problems and he did a fantastic job. Thanks Dr. Gus!

I have been a patient for several years. Gus is a great Dentist and does excellent work. His wife and staff are also excellent and I have had zero problems there. My wife is also a patient as was my brother until he moved out of town. All of us are very happy with Dr. Salidas and crew! Thanks!!

After almost thirty years of being his patient the constant getting work redone with no regard to our family missing work time for having work requiring fixing recent work or more work done or paying for a check up to have something come up within weeks, is both a lose of money and a lack of respect for our time spent sitting in his chair puts money in his pocket and we pay for that privilege in his bill and lose time of work. I could not in all honesty recommend him especially if your looking at a long term Dentist. When I respectfully brought it up was told if I did not like it get another dentist!

I stumbled upon this site and was shocked by negative comments about his wife Lucinda!!! Of course she's going to be mad if you cancel an appointment. I had the wrong date on my calendar and missed one, and yes, she was angry but not extra rude! When I had a kidney removed, and was miserably recovering at home, she phoned just to see how I was. When I was separated from my husband she always wanted to know how I was coping. When my husband died she couldn't have been kinder. In 22 years, I've never seen her be rude to anybody. I think she's a lovely person, an excellent office manager, and a real asset to her husband's dental practice. As for Dr.Salidas, he has been my dentist since he took on my daughter many years ago in a free program through her school. We didn't have a cent and he was wonderful! So was Lucinda. So kind and gentle to a scared little 6 year old. Over the years, he became our family dentist. He does take me incredibly fast in emergencies, or gives me a referral.

My family has been with Gus for about 20 years, he's been an excellent dentist for all these years. He was very accommodating when one of his hygienists was too rough (we call her the floss nazi), and we do floss every day, your gums shouldn't hurt for days after a cleaning, he switched us to a different hygienist when we asked. The only reason why I had to take him down one point is I've been struggling with sensitive teeth for years without any options until a friend asked me why I haven't tried the varnish and when I asked the hygienist about it she put it on right away.

The doctor was nice, but his staff lacked compassion for my situation. Not everybody has lots of money for the teeth. I go somewhere else where they care, now.

I would never go anywhere else. I feel that I am getting the best care with Dr. Salidas and his staff..I recommend him to everyone that I know who doesn't have a dentist. I trust that he will take good care of any of his patience.
