Had a cleaning done here. Then the doctor came in looked at my insurance on the paperwork and saw what plan I was on. The hygienist and doctor almost did like some strange eye contact with each other and pointing it out on the paper like two little kids in class trying to pass notes before a teacher saw them doing something they aren’t suppose to be doing. Afterwards, the doctor barely even looked at my teeth. Just held the xrays up in the air and told me I had 3 cavities but when I asked where he wouldn’t tell me the specific teeth. Then all of sudden they were packing up the folder and walking out telling me I can make an appointment out front to get the fillings done. Something seemed very strange about the way they were talking to me and withholding information. I did not feel comfortable that I just all of a sudden had 3 cavities since my previous history has been only 1 out of my entire life. Also I knew my plan doesn’t cover composite fillings. When I kept asking whether or not it was covered they kept saying yes. Then I continued to ask more questions and finally got out of the receptionist that silver fillings are covered and not composite. They were just going to withhold that information and fill my teeth with silver and didn’t even ask which one I preferred. It was super sketchy. It was like they were pressuring me into making another appointment to get fillings done. I told them I would not be having them done. Two weeks later I went to another dentist to receive a second opinion and that dentist looked and found NONE. Surprisingly, those 3 cavities just disappeared apparently overnight….needless to say this dentist is just in the business for the money.

Someone here said he was quick, in and out. He is. He just wants to get done, a filling takes him under 5 minutes, but it falls out just as fast, came back again, 5 min later got another filling, 2 days after it fell out again. I think he does this on purpose. He wants you to pay more money into it. BUT most importantly PLEASE READ THIS, the guy was sentenced for fraud while working at another dental office. Look it up, it's public information, how is he allowed to have a practice? He is impatient and acts like you are just wasting his precious time. Stay away! Other doctors and personnel seem helpful.

A crown on a molar with a root canal fell out. He re-cemented it without x-ray. *Wrote down wrong tooth on chart. Area became infected (because there was decay) Oral surgeon needed. Still trying to heal 1 month later. Arrogant and rude. Would NEVER recommend him.

Rude, arrogant guy. Doesn't want to answer questions. Almost as if he can't believe you would have the audacity to question him about your own mouth. Would NEVER recommend him.

Terrible manner. Rude, abrupt, rough. Ask a question and he and he answers abruptly and unsatisfactorily as he rushes out of the room.

I've practically grew up in a dentist chair. Always had problems with my teeth. So I hate going to the dentist!!! However, I look forward to seeing Dr. Mestel. I found him to be personable and quick. He's in and out. Ask him anything and he'll answer. But he's a busy guy and I don't expect him to sit with me all day conversing. I love the practice. I even have my favorite hygienist. I give them two thumbs up.

Would not recommend to anyone. Bad bedside manner and not at all suitable for those who are sensitive.

The office staff is wonderful, the wait time too long and the experience with Dr. Mestel a nightmare. Do not go to him. He's rude, rough and awful with children. Big mistake to go to him.

TRaumataized as a child from a horrible dentist and never able to reach a comfort level with any other - I finally came upon Dr. Mestel. The best quality I can say about him is that he is quick and does quality work. He is in and out - which to me personally, is all I can ask. Surprisingly, his work is painless as well. I've had several procedures by him - and although, not overly enjoyable - it's all about my comfort level and I've been satisfied with the quality and time involved each time. Furthermore, the office staff is excellent. Prompt, inredibly courteous and knowledgable about their services and always willing to explain. I never sit in the waiting room longer than 2 minutes either. Highly recommended.
