Biography
Dr. Ahmet Uluer is a pediatric pulmonologist at Boston Children’s Hospital and director of the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program, where he specializes in caring for adolescents and adults with cystic fibrosis and other complex pulmonary conditions. He is also an assistant professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Uluer earned his medical degree from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Medical School in Turkey and completed residency and fellowship training in pediatrics and pediatric pulmonology at leading academic institutions, including Boston Children’s Hospital. His clinical and research interests focus on cystic fibrosis, pulmonary infections, airway clearance therapies, and improving long-term outcomes and quality of life for patients with chronic respiratory diseases. In addition to his clinical leadership, Dr. Uluer is actively involved in translational research and multidisciplinary care initiatives aimed at advancing treatment options for patients with cystic fibrosis and related pulmonary disorders.
