I have struggled for years and seen countless doctors. Dr. Soloway is brilliant and he cares that his patients are in pain. I drive 3 hours each way to see him. Patients travel from everywhere to get his help. I have dysautonomia and EDS along with my psoriatic arthritis. Dr. Soloway got me treatment right away. I highly recommend you see him.
I saw dr solo way in 2023 for my right hip pain. Had to wait over an hour to see him from when my appointment was scheduled. Within the first few minutes he told me I never had fibromialgia (which i was diagnosed for over 10 yrs) that he was a top doc he wrote a book etc. He sent me for Bray mri and blood work (over 20 viles ) then gave me a shot in my hip and scheduled me for infusions. My next visit i asked him about some finding from the Mayo Clinic to which he answered "if the mayo clinic was that great everyone would go there and what i researched was not correct. Got another shot. Had 2 different infusion apps. Still had terrible pain. Called for appt was told he was fully book but his Associate would look at my info and get back to me. The associate called to tell me nothing more could be done and to get surgery. Same day dr soloways asst called to tell me to come in. During that appt. Dr slowly said his associate was wrong and got another shot. After speaking with my primary de. I was advised to seek 2nd opinion. I did. My exrays revealed that I had no ball in my hip bone. It was decinigrates for quite some time and he did hip replacement surgery. I have never felt better. Slowly is ALL about himself and making making money from numerous apps and his BOOK sales. Stay away or do your research and get a second opinion. If I didnt I would still be getting useless infusions and shots.
My initial visit I waited 6 hours to see Dr Soloway. Within 30 second Dr Soloway diagnosed my condition. After my 5 minutes visit with him, I had blood work, xrays, bone density and a MRI on my pituitary gland performed. All this for PSA? After questioning all these , the response was Dr Soloway knows what he is doing. My following up with Dr Soloway was all about him, his book and politics. Never mention my test results. After mix results, Dr Soloway decided to put me on another biological drug. I received no calls from the infusion department in regards when my infusion is to take place, after 3 months and numerous attempts of getting in touch with the office, I finally got a call from the office. The office apologized stating that my insurance company declined my medication, even though my insurance company accepted the medication. During the 3 months of Dr Soloway non action my condition worsen. I decided to seek another specialist and was concerned about the way Dr Soloway was treating me. The only reason Soloway responded back to me was a negative review I wrote on his FB account. My new care team reached out to Dr Soloway numerous times for my medical records and still haven't responded. There is a reason why Dr Soloway is not well regarded in the medical community, this character is a medical fraud!!! Stay away
He always would be HOURS behind in appointments. He never wanted to HEAR me, just kept telling me to follow his protocol of SSRI’s. After a year of ridiculous runaround seeing this very vain man I found a real doctor
Great, intelligent, but after 5 months I'm worse, he/ they, staff wouldn't let me see him for 5 minutes ( I was having Infusion) 1 building away, why, I have no idea and neither does RN sister for 40 years. My rash is very infected. I was willing to wait hours until he was complete with patients. Now they have me labeled as a drug seeker, I think, pain is worse than Jesus on " F" cross, cause almost whole body affected and/ or infected
I saw Dr Soloway for the first time on July 9, 2021. After suffering for over five years, seeing three other rheumatologist, and many other specialist. After my first visit Dr Soloway not only diagnosed me, but continued delving deeper into my illness to further my pain relief. Just after my first visit, I felt better then I have in five years. Yet, he continues to do more testing and add, and or decrease my meds to further help me. I saw him for a second time, and was even more pleased and impressed with his thoroughness, and expertize. After suffering for all those years, I'm so thankful that I finally found a doctor that knows what he's talking about, and knows what he's treating his patients' for. I would recommend Dr Soloway, if you want the very best!
Horrible!!! Over diagnosis and always prescribe infusions he sells. Crooked and has Medicare in his back pocket
After waiting for a long time in a freezing waiting room, this doctor didn't even review medical records, didn't ask questions, didn't try to help - all he seemed to want to do was talk about a book he wrote. Do not go here. Trust me. Don't do it.
Stephen Solloway is a fraud. I went to his office and waited for 3 hours, when he finally came in 10 minutes before the office closed, he magically knew my diagnosis before examining me OR my past medical records. He told me I had Dysautomia, denied I had Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and claimed the bloodwork that I had gotten done a few months prior couldn't be accepted because he didn't do the bloodwork himself. He kept insisting I had symptoms which I didn't have in order to convince me I had this disorder...all the while mentioning HE'S the professional and HE writes books. Apparently some magic potion he injects people with will cure me (even though he's never seen my medical records or did an examination). Save your money and go to a real doctor, because he's a snake oil salesmen.
It's a veritable rheumatology mill. If you have a complex condition with multiple problems, and no established, solid diagnosis, stay away. I mean really, stay away. I spent thousands in travel and expenses for two visits and got no diagnosis even with numerous previous test results and an ton of symptoms. Biggest waste of money ever.
