Was my doctor many years ago , I moved so had to get another doctor... I have never had another one like him

Absolutely a fantastic doctor and I wish him all the best for his retirement! He put up with me for 25 yrs and kept me healthy and happy. Well done, Dr. Ah Now.

Dr. HoYuen and Dr. AhNow have been my family doctor since about 1971. I have the utmost respect for him. He has always looked after my well being in a conscientious and caring manner with a little humour thrown in. I know that I will miss him and hope that he has a happy retirement.

A lot of people will miss him now that he is retiring Thank you for being a great caring Doctor for so many years

I have to say I am very surprised at the rating of Dr. ah now. He's been my doctor for as long as I can remember but the minute I became an adult I realized quickly that he should not be used for any kind of diagnoses as he is just too far out of the loop by now. He's ready for retirement. His fix to everything is a prescription and if you get sent to a specialist it's usually a mediocre one. He missed diagnosed me so many times I lost count. Put me on medication that did and could make me worse. He's a nice enough guy but please for your safety only go to him for VERY basic needs like colds or if you have researched a specialist you would like him to refer you to. He's just not up to par anymore.

Wonderful human being- thoughtful, knowledgeable, forthright and a sharp sense of humour.

Wonderful Doctor. Kind, caring and takes his time to hear you. No hesitation if needs to send you to a specialist. Hope he never retires.

Dr Ah Now has been our family physician for over 20 yrs. His care has been excellent for all five members of our family. Our children have grown up under his care and trust him explicitly . As a GP he quickly recognizes the need for specialists and we have confidence in his referrals .

He's a nice enough guy, but his bedside manner shouldn't be all jokes. The thing that worries me is that he put my grandparents on high doses of conflicting medications that another doctor had to fix to prevent dangerous drug interactions. He's also known for repeatedly ordering tests and failing to note the results and prescribing drugs a bit wantonly. Perhaps it's his age and his exorbitant number of patients. Updating to an electronic filing system might benefit him so he doesn't make mistakes too frequently. He was my doctor for almost 25 years; I got to know him quite well. Depending on what you want, he may work just fine for you, but he's not the doctor for me.

Dr. Ah Now, is a wonderful doctor! He's been my doctor for 10 years now. I love how I can call and get an appointment the same day! Sometimes within 30 minutes! The staff are very friendly, as well. The only downside, is the parking. There's only 4 spaces, and the extra parking lot is across a busy intersection.
