Amazing doctor. So happy I had him do my surgery. My site has never been so clear with vibrate colors in years.

They put you in loan shark type financing and convince you, you need lasik when you don't. This is a chop shop, don't trust the fake reviews.

Dr Ken Moadel have created a permanent damage in my eyes with his Lasik Laser which was supposed to deliver 20/20 back vision results. Instead I am suffering permanent dryness, halo and pain condemned to wear bifocal glasses again and a very expensive XIIDRA drops for the rest of my life. I cannot read, I cannot watch tv and life it's a torture. He doesn't care at all about my complains , he refuses to return the astronomically charge of 4,040 dollars he charged me ( 2020 per eye as he was promoting 20/20 vision back), very creative scammer that have blocked me in his Facebook page to prevent me to expose my experience and my opinion as guarantee by freedom of speech. I have pictures , if need them just ask me.

He told me that I was a candidate for refractive surgery (Lasik). I went to get a second opinion from another ophthalmologist who told me that I have an eye muscle problem in addition to problem with my eye lens. I would still need to wear glasses after the Lasik procedure. Dr. Moadel did not tell me this. I even went to his finance office (after being constantly urged by his staff) and set up an entire plan. He wasted my time, money, and was ready to perform surgery on me for no reason.

Free consultations do not mean that you actually get to see Dr. Moadel. He has an associate see you and then and only then if you say you are considering to book an appointment would they treat you like a human being - otherwise, they could care less. They found an unrelated condition in my eye that would prevent me from getting Lasik, but could be an indicator of something more serious. They would not give me any more information on my possible condition after I was deemed not a Lasik candidate. I left frustrated, scared, and confused. I later saw another ophthalmologist who said that I needed immediate neurological consultation and possible MRI - he saved my life. I learned that while some physicians treat people, others treat their bank accounts and regard humans as bags of money that can or can't be opened.

I had surgery with Dr. Moadel and it was a great experience! Dr. Moadel met with me and did not downplay the side effects at all. He was very detailed and provided me with a sheet that also explained all the side effects. I was provided with a full and free evaluation on my consultation and was evaluated again on the day of surgery. His staff was kind, helpful, friendly, and reassuring. The surgery is $4600, but since I stated I was referred by a radio station, they discounted $1000 off my surgery and entered me in a raffle for a free surgery. Needless to say, I won the free surgery and did not have to put up any money! The $4600 does cover two years of follow-up with Dr. Moadel however. He also provides you with sleeping and shower glasses, sunglasses, aftercare instructions, and eye-drops. You go to his office for a follow-up the day immediately after your surgery and although you get seen by his staff, only Dr. Moadel performs the LASIK. I would highly recommend to anyone! Loved it!

I had no idea what to expect as I did not know anyone who has had this surgery. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. Made me feel very comfortable. The actual surgery was so smoothe and a great success that I have been encouraging everyone I know to look into the surgery.
