I know that Doctor Edmonds has moved and is no longer in Nelson but I felt that I should leave a positive comment on his care. Doctor Edmonds was my family doctor for several years and delivered my first child. His handling of my wife's pregnancy and delivery was second to none. He was kind, knowledgeable, thorough, accommodating, attentive and caring. He was never condescending or judgemental and always listened respectfully to our concerns, valid or not. We wish him all the best and think of him often. To those who have attacked him for being late...I have rarely seen any doctor at the appointed time...keep in mind that you are not the only patient being seen that day...appointments run long...emergencies occur...one of those inconveniences that you experienced could have been on the day when Dr. Edmonds cleared his afternoon schedule and ran from the clinic to the hospital to deliver my child.

I hear that Dr. Rob Edmonds is moving to Hawaii. I thank God that he will be out of my community and can no longer harm my friends and associates. I fear for the good people of Hawaii, however. At first he seems really nice, but Dr. Rob Edmonds is a poor excuse for a man, let alone a doctor. He misprescribed my meds, which caused me to gain considerable weight in a very short period of time. He was unapologetic, and simply offered me (grossly inaccurate) advice about how to loose weight. I tried to type the rest of my bad experiences with Edmunds, but I'm limited to 1000 characters, which would only begin to explain my poor impression. I've heard many other horror stories from friends, for example he prescribed a large amount of oxycodone to a friend without any mention of how addictive that drug is (it has subsequently been banned in Canada as it is so dangerous). Dr. Rob Edmond's character is a danger to the public: he is not only incompetent, but he is smug. BEWARE!!!

I took my son to see him and he misdiagnosed a rash (that disappeared in 24 hours) for measles. After this experience I learned of several different people who were misdiagnosed or were improperly administered prescriptions; one of which caused harmful side effects. This man is smug, he's a liar and his liscence to practice medicine should be revoked. DO NOT SEE THIS MAN.

He was completely different when I first him. After my first visit he became totally unhelpful said very innapropriate things to me as to my age, had obviously never read any of my previous reports,was totally unhelpful and accusatory. I Would NEVER recommend him as a doctor and was advised by the hospital to find a different physician. His opinions are dated and I felt like he was put out by me being there.

Dr. Edmonds is the kindest, most sensitive Dr. my family has ever had. He is sensible and thorough and never dismisses a complaint as inconsequential. As far as punctuality, I normally don't even get to sit down in the waiting room before I am seen. This is a doctor to keep!

I HAVE FOUND DR ROB EDMUNDS TO BE AN INSIGHTFUL AND THOUROUGH PRACTITIONER OF MEDICINE. HE HAS CHALLENGED ME AS WELL WAS MOST CONSIDERATE OF MY WISH TO DIRECT MY OWN CARE IF APPLICABLE AND RESEARCHED THOROUGHLY.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DR.....

I was his first app'mt in morning and he was 1/2 hour late. Another time after waiting 45 min., I left his office since it made me late for my next app'mt. Other than that he's good enough. Could use some sensitivity training.

alot of us had dr.henshaw as a doctor and he was like are freind...my son was burnt 2 years ago and edmonds really did not do anything to help him. Recently(6 months ago, I had surgery) still don't know what is wrong with me. And believe me I do not know why any doctor would stand on a stool and push into your abdomen especially when he knows you are i pain....

I have never had a doctor treat me with such disrespect. While I believe as a person he cares about people and may have good intentions, it just isn't enough when the health of my family is concerned. He has made many socially incorrect statements that have floored me. I would repeat them here if they were appropriate for public hearing. bottom line....if you have a runny nose, he's fine....but if you have real questions about your health...find another doctor. my only hope is that if Dr. Edmonds ever has a chronic disease he finds someone in his field that has more compassion to help him along his path.

Dr. Edmonds is probably the kindest and most compassionate doctor I have ever had. He always tries every possible avenue to help me and in almost all cases finds the right cure. If he doesn't know something he will research it through literature of collegues to find the right answers. I feel lucky to have him as my personal doc! DC Nelson
