First of all their reminder system is great. I have a very busy life and they give lots of reminders via, text or email or call, whatever you choose. Second, I have been going to Applecross Dental for years, the standards have always been high. Everytime I come in, something has improved or been upgraded. I see the same staff members and the same hygienist. It is nice to have consistency, it is nice to know the people. Most of all, Dr. Protzer is a perfectionist and has an incredible amount of knowledge, not just about dentistry but with many things. This office is such a pleasure to visit because you get that old fashioned care that just seems to be lacking in many businesses today.

Best dentist on Vancouver Island, really. Nice,clean office. No up selling, no pressure just a solid family dental office with loads of good energy.

Best dentist on the island. Generations of my family have seen Klaus and he is great. His team all works well together and he genuinely cares about his workmanship. He is definitely a bit harder to get into as he is in high demand, but his skill set is worth the wait. Really nice office too, each room is private, clearly he has put a lot of money into his office, everything is in top shape.

Best dentist ever! Dr Protzer is caring, compassionate and skilled. He has saved teeth of mine that I thought would have to be pulled. I value someone who actually cares, takes the time with me and explains what has to happen. I am a lifer at this clinic! It is clear that his patients come first for him.

Dr Protzer is not just an in and out dentist. He takes time, he cares and he is incredibly intelligent. The level of dental care I have received over the years had been exceptional. From walking in, and being greeted by January, to the actual dental treatment,to leaving, it's organized, friendly and has never felt like a sales pitch. I appreciate the old school care where people are happy, you don't feel pressured and you get tons of information about your teeth. The office is large, bright, immaculate. Dr Protzer is a miracle worker with teeth, he has fixed teeth of mine that I thought were gonners. This review is well earned, I wish more businesses in Nanaimo were half as nice as this team.

Dr. Protzer and Dr. Andrew are both very good. I have seen Dr. Protzer for many years and just saw Dr. Andrew last week. Both amazing, both very thorough. Clearly they both have high standards and it shows throughout the clinic. Very happy to have 2 excellent dentists close to home.

I had a great first appointment. What I enjoyed is Dr Protzer is not just there to deal with teeth, he genuinely cares about you as the client. He listens to what you are concerned about and gives options for how to fix it. No pressure no sales tactics. I feel really lucky to have been referred to this dental office. I did have to wait a few months to get in with him but I feel the wait was worth it. He seems very genuine and so does the staff. I'd say a very high end dental office with 5 star cleanliness.

I appreciate and value the level of care that I have gotten from Dr Protzer and his staff. I recently moved to Victoria and decided to try a new office close to my apartment, horrid. Tried one more and nope not gonna do it for me. I will drive to Nanaimo to get my teeth taken care of. I feel like the new offices I saw were not I there to care they were there to make money. Since about 8 years old I have been going to Dr P and now I will make the commute. Moral of the story, when you find something good just stick with it. Thank you Dr Protzer for your continued care. I hope you never retire.

Best dentist on the island. I have had 2 implants done, many root canals, cleanings every 6 months and have always had excellent care. Dr Protzer is organized, punctual, an amazing dentist and great conversation is always had. He is genuinely interested in how I am doing and I feel like he really cares. I think these traits are hard to find nowadays. If you need a new dentist I would look no further.
