I initially went to this doctor because she was my mother's doctor. I continued for a few years. Had an episode of minor blindness at 29. he said it was probably a brain tumor. Went to hospital turned out after much testing that it was MS. First thig ahe did was presribe anti depressants. ?? At later dates she told me that she too has MS. I dont think so. She admitidly ocerdosed me withZoloft where I ended up in hospital again. The office is so dirty with rancid plants everywhere. I left her as my doctor, my mother stayed. In the following years she put my mother on Oxycodone, percaset,a morphine patch on her shoulder for 3 years. and a pill organizor full of I dont know what. Soo overmedicated, she died in 2014 at 74 years old as a medication induced woman of sepsis. retirement is too good for you maam
I know she's retired now but after reading comments I wanted to leave one. I was a patient of Walser Jebb as a kid and I have extreme medical trauma because of her. I was scared of needles and she was always just rude and made fun of me, would hold me down and berate me while she gave the needle. I stopped seeing her for years and went back in my early 20s after being diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder. First she put me on gabapentin, which is NOT an anxiety med, obviously it didn't work so then she tried to put me on LITHIUM which is an extreme drug used for bipolar, not anxiety. When I went to pick it up the pharmacist said it could cause extreme weight gain and I'd need regular bloodwork to monitor the levels, two things that contributed to my anxiety (body image and needles) I had a panic attack over it and wouldn't take it. When I saw her to tell her I wasn't going to take it she said "don't you want to be able to hold down a job and be a good mother" two things my anxiety never interfered with. I walked out and never went back. I'm glad she's retired and not hurting people anymore.
My grandfather was a patient for years. Then my mother, then myself and my son. Her retirement truly felt like losing such a stable pillar in my corner. My medical care has suffered since she left. Her medical help uncovered some serious underlying issues for me, which completely reframed my life. I miss her. Just a fabulous doctor and person.
Absolute star in my life. While I am happy for her for her retirement, it's a loss to her patients. I do not understand the negative reviews she has received because she has cared about my family and I more than any other physician I have ever had or known. 5/5 for everything, except punctuality. The only reason that ever suffered was because she cares about her patients and takes the time to listen. She doesn't have this 15- minute mentality of pushing you out the door before you're done speaking. Fantastic doctor.
Had an injury asked to see a surgeon, she put me off until November when she requested an mri. Found a new doctor got a mri in December, saw a surgeon in April. Came home got the refural to St. catharines for MRI in April 2, 2025 that right 2025. Had surgery and I am home and no more pain. Been with for about 30 years and was always good for me and helped me not sure why time she did not listen to me. But i wish you well in retirement. Enjoy
I have had Dr.Walser-Jebb since I was a teenager. I have to say I have been so grateful for the constant understanding, and caring she has always shown. I also appreciated the no nonesense approach to get or the point of things. I can’t imagine finding another doctor equal to her and am so saddened of her upcoming retirement but on the other hand she truly deserves to enjoy her later years for herself rather her constant concern for others. I truly will miss her.
I am truly going to miss Dr. Walser-Jebb, she has truly saved my life on numerous occasions. She is thorough and pro active about getting any issues you may have resolved. I am scared to start over with someone new as she knows me so well and I have complete faith in her. I wish her the best but feel this is a loss for us who value her medical expertise. You will be missed. Tanya
Dr Walser-Jebb has been my Doctor since 2007 . I was a 32 year old man referred by my friend and his wife . I have a read a lot of comments about her here, and some aren’t good . I have known this doctor for a long time. It’s in my opinion that if you show a genuine interest in trying to care for yourself, she will do her utmost to help you . She is no-nonsense to be sure. She has helped me in many ways, and has been a friend. She is a good person. It really upset me to learn today that she is retiring. I will miss her. Thank you for your care, and the talks ❤️ Alan P.
Dr. Walser-Jebb has been an incredible family doctor for my husband and I over the last 7 years - I'm devastated she's retiring. I appreciate that she is holistic in her approach, she is concerned about your physical and mental health. She will pursue all available options to meet your health needs, beyond just writing a quick script. While she is certainly direct in her delivery, I always felt that she cared for me as her patient. I am so thankful for her and will miss her dearly!
The staff is wonderful. How they put up with her i really dont know. She is retiring thank goodness. I have been seeing for a very very long time, my husband always wanted me to get away from her. But I dont like change. But now I have to change and I have found a wonderful new doctor. I have read all these comments about her and they are all true. Wish I listened to my husband.
